• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

ST-L heat problems and my concerns

I wonder what percentage of people having these high heat problems have non-stock seats, body panels (bumpskid), heat panels, etc? Is it possible that the engineered airflow on the stock models is easily influenced by some of these mods in unanticipated ways? Changing the airflow could port...

    Broken RT Fender Brace

I run 18 psi front tire pressure (26 rear). I do have my springs set to highest preload setting though, and we have realllllllly crappy roads around where I live! Maybe I need Ron's sway bar, some new shocks, and a lower spring preload setting!? Bill

    Broken RT Fender Brace

Chupaca, Yes, it's a break right at the weld. I think the weld heat work hardened the tube??.... Metal was shiny at the site of the break for the most part. Good idea to check for lower priced options... the BRP part (RH Fender Front Support 705003457) sells for $50 bucks.... I'm out of...

    Broken RT Fender Brace

Well, just turned over 30,000 miles today on our 37 month old 2010 RTS. Been solid and problem free until today, when the right fender bracket (front) broke (see pic). Will get a new part, but until then, used a long bolt to bridge the break.... Hope this isn't the beginning of any kind of...

    adjusting air ride

On my 2010 RTS, the air ride setting corresponds to a ride height. Particularly noticeable at night, each position on the display takes us to a specific height (by adjusting the air pressure). The highest settings give us a little harsher ride, but we ride higher (and headlight aim come down)...

help in the “convincing” my wife

I sorta went along this line of thought when I surprised Sandy for Mother's Day in 2010..... With the comm system, we spend lots of quality time pondering life's mysteries and enjoying our time together... I'm a very lucky guy to have her in my life, and she reminds me of that frequently!! Bill

    Little upset

Every RT owner MUST learn how to install this trim panel properly, because many dealers simply don't know how or are careless about installing. See the first picture below. The small trim tab that angles inboard MUST be positioned so that it shingles over (inboard) of the air screen (see...

What jack do you use to change the tires??????

My floor jack is about a quarter of an inch too high at its lowest level to get under the lower control arm, so I just drive the front wheels up onto a 2x4 (one under each) to get just a bit more clearance for the floor jack. Just need to make sure you put the 2x4 back under the tire when you...
