• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    THANK GOD FOR 3 WHEELS

I am always with a cold drink on these hot days too. Albeit, not always the best choices as often a convenient stores ice tea, or Diet Coke. The Butler was my first purchase when returning from Cuba in 90+ degree temps.

    The Stuff Of My Nightmares!!!

Wow, that is one cool granny. I did that once, and unless someone really close to me wanted me to do it again, I'm done with skydiving. Off my bucket list. P.S. really glad she kept the hair on.:yikes:

Curious to what colors BRP will offer on the 2013 RT Limiteds

Colors are interesting on these Spyders. Who would have thought a Lava Brown with Tan seat for only LTD's? And only other choice is a fine looking Pearl White in the LTD. some of the others that are flashy look cool too. It may likely depend on sales of the colors. The Lava Brown/Tan exuded...

B&E delays shipping of NBV's at Lamonster Inc.

What a great thread. They love those biodegradable packing peanuts. By the way, I hear they make a good stew:bbq:.......................... the racoons that is, not the packing peanuts. :yikes:

Checking your oil on a Spyder RT

First time I checked the oil, I was surprised at the amount of pressure to insert the pins into the grommets, and pulling them out to remove the panel too. Seems like an opportunity to break them. I've had good success with putting a tiny amount of plumbers silicone on these types of pins. Then...

    Memorial Day

I have spent a lot of the day thinking about the ultimate sacrifices of our heros that haved served this great country, and given us a freedom never before experienced in the history of civilization. I thank you for the sacrifice your son made, and every one of the Vetrans out there! I was...

Cleaning the "chrome" pieces on the RT.

I just use whatever wax or synthetic polish I use for the painted surface. It shines up nice and protects.

Got my 3000 mile service and got a surprise!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the comment on the Lava Bronze. When I first saw that color, I did not even look at any others. The fact that it came only in the RT LTD was fine for me, as I liked that model. With the Tan seat, this combo really looked sweet. I rode out to Cuba, MO. on my Goldwing, with a friend on...

New SpyderLover sponsor- Butler Motorcycle Mug Holder

Placed my order for the 32oz. RT set up this morning. Just returned home from Cowtown last night and put 580 miles on the RT LTD on the return trip. ( first service already scheduled). My buddy rode my GL1800 back, and loved the Butler on it, especially in the 90 + degree heat. It's a must have...

New SpyderLover sponsor- Butler Motorcycle Mug Holder

I checked my Butler 32oz. Mount to a 24 oz. Tervis on my GL1800. No go. The mount is larger than the cup. Maybe the smaller Butler would fit, but I can't confirm. I love the Butler 32 oz. mug, and highly recommend them. Just returned from Cuba, MO. on a new RT and rode in 90+ degree sunshine...

    New Elka shocks

When I test rode the Spyder for about 45 minutes last week, the floaty, wondering feeling at highway speeds was unnerving to me:yikes:. Len is setting up my new RT Ltd. with the Elkas today, and I'll pick it up Thursday. I'm pleased there was a fairly easy (albeit not cheap) fix for this. Love...

    Extended Warranty second thoughts?

I can't imagine being able to get a refund, unless it is within 3 days, where some states allow a "right of rescission" clause. If that were the case, you would have signed a form with the purchase. I too am not one to purchase any extended warranties. Being that the Spyder is totally new to...

Very funny. First few seconds had me going. His ride was rather jerky, but I figured he's just got a real tight suspension:yikes:
