• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Bottom end of 3rd gear... when accelerating, like entering the on ramp to the highway I'm in 2nd gear around 63 mph, then shift into 3rd :2thumbs:

    Got my pin today.

:congrats: How long did it take to receive it once you submitted your mileage? It's been 3-4 weeks here, still no pin.

    BRP Side Cases

I like this much better than the $20 Safeman I bought... I should have asked the board first {sigh} The waterproof protection w/the locking feature makes this a good value ($59) IMHO. Thanks Scotty!

    BRP Side Cases

I have the BRP bags and they're awesome. Lots of space and served their purpose to/from Gatlinburg last month. They don't hold my helmet; a Scorpion 1000. However, I use a safeman cable to lock the helmet(s) down: http://www.lockitt.com/CablesBraided.htm#safeman If you ride 2-up, then you may...

    Ride home from the BBQ

Me too. Brett (having over +/- 300K lifetime miles) suggested we trade lead position on the highway (both down and back) every 30 miles. The reason being the follower(s) tend to get drowsy from lack of creative driving. When I led, it was easy to perk back up since I was able to control the...

    Safe at home from Gatlinburg

Brett and I made it to Carlisle, PA yesterday before we called it a day; peeled off about 550 miles of the 800. Today we were making great time until two of the cylinders on Brett's 1999 Valkyrie stopped firing. Pulled over at a Shell station in Kutztown, PA. Took us about an hour to...

    Spider-themed parts

It's a shame that Spyder Roadster didn't stick, just the Spyder part. I'd much prefer a Roadster theme :ohyea: Most of the time I tell people I'm taking my Roadster out, not a Spyder or motorcycle.

    Moto Fizz Passenger Camp Bag

What a coincidence. I never heard of Aerostich until last week, went to the site and ordered a Dry Bag. It just showed up 5 minutes ago. I'll be packing my electronics in it JUST in case my boot isn't 100% waterproof. Looks like we may see some rain on the ride down.

    Spyder shop manual????

Yes, you can order it from your dealer. I bought mine when I paid for the :spyder: It's actually quite good. Be sure to ask them about the update bulletins too. Very cool that you're taking the course. I may do the same ;-)
