• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

First Two up Ride with issue

I had the same "would not crank" issue on about my 5th ride out and even posted about it. I went thru the start up process several times, nothing, not a bit of crank. I eventually popped the seat up and wiggled and pushed on the fuses under there and it started right up. They did not seem...

Questions on Corbin vs stock seat rebuild

I messed around this weekend using "filler" of towels, small cushions, etc.. and have have decided that if I had about 2 more inches of room to scoot back (thats about all I would think I can steal from passenger area based on wife sitting there while I tested), that would help a decent bit...

Questions on Corbin vs stock seat rebuild

Are there any photos anywhere comparing the stock seat to the Corbin? I would love to see a side by side comparison shot to see if and how much room it might add for driver. Also, in reading, the difference between a standard Corbin and one with the "Lamont" cut, is __________________...

Questions on Corbin vs stock seat rebuild

I am new owner and at 6'5" and 330 lbs myself I have the same issue (and one of the few things so far about my Spyder that has not been perfect). If about 2 inches could be carved off the little backrest bump (taken from the passengers seat area) I think things would be fine. I have looked...

My first "issue" with my new Spyder

1 week into ownership, out on my 5th ride today (slowly making longer and farther away from home trips as I get comfortable) and have wife along for her 2nd ride with me. Of course at the furtherest point from home, the city, etc... off at the end of a 2 mile dead end road where nobody usually...

    RT manual on the iPad

Same here. All other PDFs show full in iBooks PDF reader area. This new 2010-11 service manual for RT shows up in my collection, shows all the hundreds of pages are there and you can change pages, but all pages are blank. This one PDF file is also the only one that would not open on my PC...

    RT manual on the iPad

I have the same issue. I think maybe it has to do with the PDF you download from them (at least it tells me you need it) having to use the newest Adobe Viewer X, and maybe Apple IPAD of ours using the ibooks viewer has not been updated to run X version yet? Just a guess but I even requested a re...

    Looking for local riders

Welcome! Fellow newbie (had mine for 1 week now) from Jonesboro. I have not seen any Spyders in my area so I think they are still pretty scarce in my part of the state.

    Sena SMH10 Bluetooth Communication Review

I could not make my mind up on the SENA or the UCLEAR, so I ordered both in to try (love no hassle returns, since nobody around here sells them so I could eyeball them) I have decided to keep the SENA's and return the UCLEAR. They both seem from my small amount of testing to have good sound...

Very nice job! Enclosed trailer to protect Spyder and then a camper for you when you get where you are going. Great idea and nice work!

    Oh, what have I done?

After days and days of rain and me spending all last weekend taking the local MSF Basic course, I got my state test passed for my M endorsement, my tags for Spyder and today sunshine finally!!!!! So, off on my first 2 hour cruise around town and the back roads all around town getting my...

    Towing a Spyder if brokedown?

Nothing overly fancy, but my good friend owns a utility type trailer manufacturing business and is making me one sized just how I want it. 6.5 wide x 12' long (with dove tail) and 4' fold down ramp, metal floor with tie down points right where I need them and welded metal front tire chalks...

    Towing a Spyder if brokedown?

I am having a custom trailer made for my new RT-S SE5 Spyder, but was wondering if by bad luck one day I am out riding and breakdown, can you "FOR SHORT DISTANCES" put the Spyder in neutral and tow it behind a car/truck, just to get it to a safe place and off the highway, etc..? Of course me...

From Spyderfest to Memphis (and beyond)

FYI, in case you don't know and might take this route. With the closing today of Highway 63 near Black Rock, AR, (levee broke near Pocahontas flooding unusual areas) there is no route from the Missouri border, all the way south to about Bald Knob, AR across the Black river. You should...

    Oh, what have I done?

Oh, what have I done? I drove the 1 hour 20 mins to my nearest Spyder dealer in Memphis today and picked up my new 2011 RTS-SE5 and trailered it home without ever test driving or even hearing a motor fire up on one (except Thursday the 3 hours I was at Spyderfest). My first engine starting and...
