• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is the rear tire an automobile tire?

The question now becomes... What are dealers charging for the alignment? If it's under $150 it's all good. (at least for me... I am used to HDx1 = $100, HD might mean Harley Davidson or Home Depot... just sayin')

New bag from Corbin for the F3 (Sneak Peak)

:agree: I'll spend that $700 on a cat removal, caps, 3rd peg and more LEDs. I changed my post about regretting the purchase of the Can-Am bags in the Viking Bags thread. I'll stick with what I will get in a few weeks.

    IPS frame caps

Spyman, is there any aluminum pitting inhibitors on those parts. My bikes live partially outdoors in a two sided enclosed car port and I admit to being lazy with the cover and I hate to polish things. The third peg is on my list but I was hoping for something with less shiny. I love the caps but...

    Lamonster F3 GPS Mount

Every time I turn around there is something in the Lamonster shop I want (need) to buy. I looked at other handle bar mounts and didn't like them because they were not centered. Leave it to you guys to come up with exactly what I wanted. Now I have to add another thing to the list. Also... I...

    Ready to leave Harley

I totally understand. I have run into a few of these types. Lucky for me, I always happened to be with my friends on Harleys and I ended up being the guy holding them back. That statement speaks volumes about you. Most people would look away or not get involved or nervously laugh along with...

    New Spyder

I would say you are in pretty good shape. Almost all of my problems with my 2010 RSS (Pearl White) where self inflicted. I shifted at 3500 RPM before I knew better and eventually destroyed the trans. Almost flipped it hitting a giant hole on the shoulder on 95 (Not my fault, cager was forcing...

    Trike Training

Well if you are throwing that wide of a net, PA has a 2 week, 4 night course that will get you the endorsement. You have to go to the DMV and take the test for the permit first though. Are you trying to avoid the written test or the riding test at the DMV? Once you get your permit in PA, you...

    Ready to leave Harley

Me as well, the Spyder and the Sporty. I tend to ride alone or in small groups. Only time I will ride with a large group is with the Warriors Watch Riders. Same policy as the PGR. Two wheels, three wheels, four wheels (by height). The two wheels ride staggered for extra safety and to let LEO...

Fear & Loathing on the highway....NNJ edition

Somerset, NJ I live west of Philly so my first highway ride was 422 and 202. Quite the adventure. We have an office on Somerset so I have ridden there. 202 to 22 to 287. You are correct in saying that 287 is full of potential killers. I would suggest an air horn. You will stand out though...

    New front LED lighting

What bulb / kit did you use for the fog lights? I have the 'pillar of light' because mine are reversed so I may as well change the bulbs when I get them swapped.

    ANTI-THEFT SECURITY

If someone really wants your bike, it will be gone. I just do the normal things when away from home. Lock the steering. Park it under a light (light is like kryptonite for most scumbags), if you staying in a motel, park it as close to your room window as you can and open the window if you can...
