• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Got a call from BRP!

MIRRORS? Same thing with me! It's one of the features that made me look twice at an RT. Big mirrors at the right spot and very solid. You can actually recognize who's riding behind you. I back up with my trailer using the mirrors only. Just love them! SilverFox

RT-622 trailer spare tire recess does it really exists

The only time I used my trailer and did not bring the spare I must have jinxed myself. (I needed all the room for a load of "Tandy Leather" stuff. I make my own chaps and vests and all kinds of leather goods). I split the side of the tire, about a four inch gash. I have a mini compressor, I...

    iPod charging

It DOES charge on a 2011 RT-Limited. Because I plug my Ipod touch gen4 in there when it's absolutely dead from not using it all winter,,, and then I leave it pluged in the trunk all summer,,, it gets fully charged after just a little bit of ryding,,, and that's all I listen to all summer...

    New RT-S owner(s)

Welcome to the Spyderhood! If you are ryding for the first time you are probably ahead of your brother eventhough he's been ryding for a long time. There is a bit of a learning curve. By the way, your life is about to change. Good luck! SilverFox

    GPS White out

What kind of GPS are you using? I'm just wondering if maybe some are made better than others or what. I have a Zumo 660, I sometimes wear black T-shirts and sometimes I wear white T-shirts. I have never had that problem. Seriously,,, is it possible that some GPS's might have a non-reflecting...

Another Thread about Heat And The RTs

Heat problem? I ride a 2011 RT-Limited. I am 5'11", 30" inseam. The last two months temperatures have been in the high 30's. I shift above 4500 rpm's. I wear biker boots all the time. I wear jeans all the time plus chaps a lot of times. No heat problems!!! And neither does my passenger. Buddy...

    Newbie question

Hi Rar. Just a thought here. Is it possible that your front shocks are not properly adjusted for your style of riding? Does your Spyder seem to want to roll over towards the outside of your curve? Perhaps some of the more experienced ryders could chime in and help you with this suggestion. I...

    Utopia Backrest Installed

I would just like to know,,, is it absolutely necessary to remove your seat for this install or could a person drill the two holes using a small right-angled drill while the seat is still on the Spyder? I think I am more affraid of removing the seat than cutting into it. SilverFox

    Stealth Billie is Dead

Some day Fliight Risk, you might say "I wish I had installed a battery tender". For the price! Keep in mind that every thing is aging and wearing down,,, so is your battery. They don't stay fresh forever. You don't have to have one but it's a good precaurion that's all. By the way,,, good...

    Parking in public...

Well spyderlovers,, I just want to say that the same has happened to me. I use my travel cover, I have a Gorrila alarm with the pager I try to park in safe places where I can keep my ride in sight (as much as possible) but it happened just the same. I respect other people's property and I...
