• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How many beers fit in the frunk?

"The RTs greater capacity and the ability to spread the weight more evenly; Isn't that alone a good reason to favor it over the poor RS/GS and their limited capacity for "hydraulic sandwiches?" Hmmmm...No.

Just from reading this forum, seems like Docdoru would be the one to ask.

Power Ranger Spyder (Tiny) Mike looks like the "Venom" version of a Power Ranger

How many beers fit in the frunk?

Thanks for the reference Okay, so handling is acceptable with 5 gals. gas, gas is a little over 6 lbs. per gallon, so this is confirmation that handling is acceptable with over 30 lbs. in frunk. This translates to about 36 cans (which I doubt even the most innovative packingwill exceed), so...

How many beers fit in the frunk?

Good point! According to that unimpeachable source Wickipedia, you are right on the money regarding weight. The beer run however will be primarily straight ahead superslab, and not much of a handling challenge, so I won't mind flirting with the 35# limit on this run.

How many beers fit in the frunk?

Quite a few? Thanks Luckyme and while I agree with your assessment, I'm afraid "quite a few" cannot be considered an official entry. We're going to need something a tad more specific :lecturef_smilie:

How many beers fit in the frunk?

30 going once.... Thanks Arntufun, Your estimate of 30 is duly noted, I'm hoping the absence of a liner and some innovative stacking will up that number. My RS is having the initial service done or I'd be establishing the definitive count once and for all!

    Great Roads

Try this one Mike Apparently a popular number, 3 here also (FL, NC, SD). I'll add one for Blueknight, Hwy 98 in AZ from Sedona to Prescott Valley. Never rode the dragon, but it's difficult for me to imagine a curvier or more dramatically scenic (dangerous combination) road than this one.

How many beers fit in the frunk?

Getting ready to make a road trip to procure some of that sweet ambrosia the Atlantic coasters refer to as Yuengling Lager. Nearest outlet is about 95 miles away. I'd like to take the Spyder, but not sure how many cans I can fit in the frunk. Anybody know from experience, or would like to hazard...

    Hey Bajaron!

See that's the thing, we locals are not all raging alcoholics, and New Orleans is not all Bourbon Street. For most locals Mardi Gras is a family holiday where you take the kids out to see a parade. Lots of people grilling and maybe having a few beers along the parade route. What you see on TV is...

    Hey Bajaron!

Just noticed Seth-O and AKSpyderman have LA based holes as well, I'm getting a complex. Trust me this is a fun and friendly place! We have a city called New Orleans (where I was a fireman for 28 years) that throws a little party called Mardi Gras every year, you may have heard of it. Just us and...

    Hey Bajaron!

I couldn't help noticing a peculiar hole in your "states visited" map.:yikes: Are you a wanted man in LA and MS? We're actually pretty friendly down here (some fellow LA riders have already offered me invitations to ride with them), no need to leave that unsightly hole in your...

    Newbie purchased his first Spyder!!!

Broken record Congratulations! Sorry, just got finished writing pretty much this same advice on another post, but for me it bears repeating. The Spyder is a blast to ride, but it is very different from a 2 wheeler. It took me a couple of hundred miles before I started to get used to the...

    Jumping in with both feet!

Maybe I'm the only one, but it took me a couple of hundred miles to really start to get comfortable with the handling of the Spyder vs. my 2 wheeled ride. Don't get me wrong, I love it and am loving it more every ride, but for me it was a transition. I'd plan to initially take it pretty easy on...

Newbie Here-just made a completely impulsive purchase

Congratulations! Welcome to the group. Not to worry about not having your motorcycle license yet (provided your state allows you to test on your Spyder), in some ways the Spyder is more like driving a four wheeled vehicle than a 2 wheeler. It seems to me that the hardest part of my transition...

    Need your Wisdom

tire warranty No mention of tires in the BEST warranty brochure, tires are usually covered by a seperate warranty from the tire manafacturer. They are usually pro-rated and you are given credit toward a new tire based on the wear left on the old. In this type case however, where there is an...
