• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    I CANNOT WAIT........

I'm with you on the cooler temps!!! Here in Dallas we are still hitting 100 just about every day and Saturday was 106. I would like to ride to work but I'm not going to set in traffic for over an hour in 100 degree heat with the heat of the bike and other cars to go along with it...:(

    New Calsci tinted shorty

Got my Calsci tinted shorty windshield in today and put on the bike. I went with this over the Madstad because I really liked the looks of the fixed windshield. I really like the price of the windshield..lol... And I was afraid my OCD would have me non stop adjusting the Madstad always looking...

    Confirmed USA 2013 RT-S MELTING

If they are just now acknowledging a problem with the heat I would more than bet the 2014 have the same design flaw as the 2013's. At this point in the design phase I'm pretty sure the bikes are already being built. They may go ahead and throw the shield on the 2014's before selling but I doubt...

I need advice on excessive heat questions, coolant and master cylinder checks

The master cylinder is located just above and behind the brake pedal on the right side, not left side. If you remove the right side panel you should be able to see the master cylinder connected to teh brake linkage. The white cap on top is the part that is melting.

    Akrapovic exhaust for st-s

You are so right, very hard to really hear what an exhaust will sound like on youtube.

    Akrapovic exhaust for st-s

I know the dealers sell this exhaust straight off their shelf and they told me no programmer needed. I listened to many exhausts on Youtube and really did not care for the Akropovic sound. And at this time neither Juice Box or Power Commander show a product on their websites for our 2013 bike yet.

Easy way to check master cylinder on RS

Just thought I would pass on an easy way I found to check the master cylinder on the RS and RS-S models today. You can take your iPhone or similar device and slide it in the slot on the right side of the bike and take a picture of it. This requires no plastic panel removal and literally takes 2...

    ALL 2013 Spyders recalled

The master cylinder is on the right side of the bike just above the brake peddle and behind the plastic. On the RSS you can stick an iPhone in the slot and take a picture of the master cylinder so you don't have to remove the plastic to check. Not sure if this is possible with a RT or ST.

One of the main differences between 2013 and other models

My 2013 RS-S still has the open slots on both the right and left side of the bike where you can see the exhaust pipe and heat does vent. I don't know much about the RT and ST comparied to earlier models so those could very well be different. I looked at my master cylinder today and there was no...

Why no fuel management for 2013?

I would think the 2013 RT ans ST would benefit greatly from a tuner. With a good tune that could richer up the engine you would think that would help to reduce the over all heat and make the bike run better two fold.

Why no fuel management for 2013?

Wow guess I missed the joke. So almost a year after the first 2013 was sold and still no fuel management system for the bikes but you can buy an exhaust and air intake system. Didn't realize I was asking so much. I have a RS-S which is not affected by the recall so I'm riding my bike daily and...

Why no fuel management for 2013?

How is it we are less than a month away from the 2014 announcements and neither Juice Box Pro or Power Commander show a product on their website for the 2013 models yet? For anyone with a intake and exhaust system on their 2013 how are you tuning it?
