• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Wheel Nut Socket

Yes, edited my post, but then 2.5” is too small.

    Wheel Nut Socket

If 65mm is proper size , 2 1/2” is 63.5 mm so would be too small.

    Tire inflation spec

Thanks Mike. Saw a recent thread on this, not sure that there are options yet for the Ryker Rally. Hopefully that will change.

    Tire inflation spec

All my life, never knew that. Well then my tires are significantly over inflated. Guess the dealer doesn’t know that the sticker rules either.

    Ryker Covers

I can only speak to the size of the BRP cover because I have seen pictures of it installed on another Rykers FB post. I won’t be using it until winter.

    Service/Shop Manuals

It is searchable. Now not everything is a valid search term so if you search for things using a term that is different than the index you’ll be referred to google or wikopedia.

    Tire inflation spec

Maybe a stupid question, but the operators manual for my Rally does not specify tire inflation pressure. It says to refer to the tire label. Would that be the sticker inside the service panel (says 20psi front, 28psi rear) or the psi specified on the sidewall (44 psi max load on all 3 tires)...

    Service/Shop Manuals

I did download the Ryker version of the shop manual for the 600/900/900Rally. Possibly a bit more cryptic than other MC shop manuals I have used but they contain quite a bit of information. One of the included links to the BRP parts catalog was not working so I messaged tech support. I received...

    Handlebar orientation, ryker

Thanks Wrench. I’m waiting on Kolpin gun rack I ordered to deliver. If, as I expect, I have inadequate clearance to mount to the handlebars I’ll either flip and drill existing bar or possibly an accessory bar from Amazon that has more available mounting space.

    Hand protector lights

I have them installed, they are just accent lights. In hindsight it would be nice if they doubled as front turn signals, although they are white not yellow.i suppose if someone wanted to they could use them as running light/turn signals with a run-turn module.

    Ryker Covers

I have the BRP cover for my Ryker, I really only plan to cover the bike for winter storage. Otherwise it will sit under my carport. The cover is large enough to handle the trike and any accessory bags, windshield, etc Without difficulty. I also own 2 Nelson Rigg covers for my two wheelers...

    Gear lever

Someone did a great mod on the FB Ryker forum, her husband welded an extension to the existing shift lever that brings it a few inches closer to the rear of the bike and softens the angle. They posted a video but not from you tube, I took a few still photos in freeze frame. If anyone is...

    Wife needs short reach handlebars

Someone put apes on one of these, look in the forum on do it yourself mods. Maybe something with 7-8” pullback would work if its available in 7/8” and if the wires on the bike are long enough.

Guy flipped his Ryker riding in reverse

Any bike or trike can ge dangerous if you have to make a sudden evasive maneuver, though I would generally think 2 wheels less dangerous depending upon the road surface. I don’t think folks jumping all over the guy who rolled the Ryker are being realistic. A big selling point is that its almost...

Anyone Buying Extended Warranty's with their Ryker

One of the new riders in a FB Ryker forum just paid around $750 for 3 years, sorry, can’t remember which forum. I know they bought over the phone, not from the dealer they purchased the bike from.

Guy flipped his Ryker riding in reverse

Not sure what that has to do with the post, but ok, if you say so. My experience is the tri-glides easily keep up in the twisties but again not really relevant.

Guy flipped his Ryker riding in reverse

Makes sense, not sure it would be intuitive. Lots of people too used to throwing their car in reverse, looking backwards and hitting it hard. And I’m sure going cross grade on a slope didn’t help.

Guy flipped his Ryker riding in reverse

Per the post title, this guy (Daniel from NJ) says he flipped his Ryker while reversing too fast on a slope. Based upon the damage I assume it flipped onto its side, not a full roll. I can see how that could happen, could probably happen in forwards motion on a curve in a slope too. I assume...

A vastly improved way to lift the Spyder ….

Does the J&S adapter work with Ryker models or just Spyder? Debating selling my J&S with my 2 wheeler but if it can fit Ryker maybe I’ll hang onto it. Also re “air version”, remember seeing a post sometime in the past that Northern Tool has an air bottle hydraulic that can fit in the J&S frame...

    Handlebar orientation, ryker

Can the handlebars and controls be rotated to gain some clearance? I have 3-4 brackets to mount (cell, drink holder, etc) and another half inch of clearance would help. Based upon the parts diagram there doesn’t appear to be any locking pins or similar, thought I’d check before I start loosening...
