• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Idea for extra visibility when braking.

Old post, but just saw it. I had a similar bit of kit on my last bike. It projected a red "line" across the road about 6 ft behind me. In the rain, the laser was visible, so a big red triangle was showing as the rain drops caught in the light. You could wire it to a switch as a fog light. Do...

    No Customer Service Corbin

I saw a comment earlier about the U.S. having low or no consumer rights? In the UK or Europe, we have vast regulations on "this and that" - so much so, if I was a business, I would consider not selling directly to the public. :) Joe Public is a fickle lot. One example - if I order something...

    Homecoming Challenges

Read this post with interest - you have to remember that the village that is further from the sea than any other human settlement in the UK is Coton in the Elms, Derbyshire. One kilometre south-east is Church Flatts Farm, which is 113km (70 miles) from the nearest point on the coast, or 72km (45...

    Looking to buy - some advice please . . . .

A BIG THAK YOU Thanks for all the advice and comments - it is extremely kind of you all to give your thoughts. Having reconsidered, I believe this is one to avoid, which is a shame. I have seen another with twice the mileage (1800) two owners, full service history etc at a cheaper price...

    Looking to buy - some advice please . . . .

Good thought, Chupaca, I will ask for the VIN. BTW, All U.K. Spyders are right hand drive - exactly the same as U.S. Stage Coaches . . . http://www.doblu.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/stagecoach11234.jpg So, when, exactly, did you start going "wrong" . . . . . . ? ? ? ? ? ? :riding:

Have you thought about adding seat belts to your Spyder

BMW made a city trike that had a seatbelt which allowed drivers to ride it with no helmet. It did have a kind of roof. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=bmw+c1+image&safe=off&biw=1280&bih=678&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjrrMj3qqDNAhUILsAKHbS3DokQsAQIGw I think a jacket with...

    Looking to buy - some advice please . . . .

Thanks, Bob. I thought at that mileage, it may have had it's first service, but probably nothing since. If you trade into a dealer, that is not recorded as a change of owner here in the UK (unless he puts it on the road). So, someone has filled in all the paperwork and registered it and got...

    Nolan Helmets

I use a Caberg, I found that if I ride with the sun visor down and the clear visor up, every insect and bit of dirt found it's way into my eye. Jeff

    Looking to buy - some advice please . . . .

Hi, having finally given up on two wheels (after 47 years of riding, to give you some idea), I am looking for a fun machine and want something a bit "unusual". O.K., I admit straight from the "get-go" (it is a predominantly U.S. site, afterall) I was looking at the Morgan Three Wheeler but...
