• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Spyders have arrived in Phoenix!

I took my ST-L in for its 600 mile service this morning at RideNowPowerSports Peoria. As I was leaving the service department, they were unloading a full semi flatbed stacked 2 high, 2 wide and the full length of crated Spyders. The Service rep told me that they are 2015's. Now we just have...

    It's Getting Colder

Summertime in the desert. With the exception of those folks who are very grizzled, we tend to hide from the summer like you folks hide from winter. We're on the eve of six months of great ryding.

    It's Getting Colder

Can't wait for winter The mornings are good but we're still seeing triple digit temperatures in the afternoons. Another month and it'll be ideal ryding weather in the desert.:yes::yes:

    What's the max RPM?

I've been out riding my ST Limited, and although I am making a conscious effort to shift at or above 6000 RPM, I finally noticed this morning that there is no red line on the tachometer. I presume the nanny has a built in rev limiter, but how far can I safely push the engine without getting a...

"Dave, I'm afraid I can't let you do that..."

Did you ever think about . . . Progressive Insurance's snapshot? It plugs into your car and they use it to monitor your driving with the promise of lower rates. It's already begining. :banghead:

    Yet another rainy weekend

Almost too hot to ride. I rode my Spyder over to a nearby Mexican restaurant for lunch. It was a bit warm (100). Supposed to hit 106 this afternoon. Not all that good for riding here, either.

    Surgery

I had it done, too Just do all the exercises that the physical therapist gives you and you'll be back to normal quickly. If you get lazy, like me, PT can be a painful experience. BUT, you get everything back eventually.

    Kury ISO grips

I think you want to use the screws. I think I read that you need to put the scepter backing on the throttle grip to keep the spring in place. It would probably be a good idea to put the screw in place on the other side as well. The Kury grips use different screws for their end caps, so you...

    Dazed and Confused.

I've been reading about the heat issues. And, I getting ready to start working on my 2013 ST-L. My question is, does removing the catalytic converter solve the heat issue. If I do the PitBull bypass, is there no need for JT's air filter. I know, I know. . . Do both. But my wallet says...

    Budget Cuts

well. . . Those sponsorships aren't cheap and we all want the government to cut down on spending. Ending the sponsorships is one way to do it. I'm sure that there is a company or two who will step in and fill the void. It'll just be a different plastic decal stretched onto the race car.
