• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Pictures

I see all of the posts with pictures of the person writing as well as their Spyders. I can not figure out how to add any pictures. Obviously it can not be too complex as some individuals change theirs periodically. It is simply my old mind can not figure it out.

IT LOOKS LIKE ALL IS GOING TO BE OK

Sorry to hear what your son and family are going through. I just took the time to pray for your son as well as your family. The God of the Bible is mighty. I have watched and been one of many who watched my wife go from third stage to forth stage cancer with a very short life expectancy, to...

    polar bear left behind!

I live about as far west of Orlando as your new home is north. Contrary to the general opinion of Florida, there are hills down the center of the Florida peninsula and lots of twisting and winding roads. I hope that you enjoy Central Florida riding as much as I do. One word of warning. This...

    Newby looking for advice

I also am a newbie with under 3000 miles. My Spyder needed much in they way of alignment and front tire replacement. In spite of that there was no tire squeal. Is it possible that your foot is resting on the break pedal while you are on the gas. That will cause a squeal.

Chupaca, what are your lights mounted to? They do not appear to be on the A arms.

    HEAD LIGHTS

THANKS I really appreciate the input. My old eyes need some of this young LED type lighting. Yes I agree LED would be the only way to go due to the vibration.

    HEAD LIGHTS

I have seen post on here referring to overdriving the headlights on Rt's. I wonder has anyone put driving lights on the front fenders? Possibly too heavy or too much shake. I am curious though. If possible, they could also be effective as turning lights. Lights not turn signals.

    First ride for 2017

It was a bit tough as the temp was only in the low 80's but rode my RT to church on New Years morning. Love Central Florida weather. Never have to shovel sunshine.

    RAINGEAR

I agree with your comment as well as the one regarding it being high end gear. What I was told is that they use (if I remember the name correctly) YKK zippers. In addition I bought mine the first morning they were on sale and only paid $100.00.

    RAINGEAR

Back in October I attended a motorcycle show in Orlando, Fl. While there I saw a new and unique rain suit design. If any of you have ever stood in a downpour trying to get you rain pants over a set of boots, you might want to take a look at this new design. Yes I know about plastic bags over...

    73 Year old rookie here

Old but not Dead I rode 2 wheelers for about 45 years. Started REAL young. Sold my last one in the late 1990's. Last April at 75 years old, I bought a new 2015 RTs. All I can say is it was one of the best decisions I have made recently. I truly believe the years I was not riding at all...

    2016 RT

It seems that the start procedure was changed during the 2015 model year. My 2015 RTs requires me to wait. Pushing the mode button does nothing until the start sequence times out. Not really a big deal.

    High Mileage 2015 F3

Talk to Albert at Central Florida Powersports in Kissimmee. He treated me right when I bought and a good friend of mine just flew in from Texas and drove his new RT back to Texas. The reason was best price.

    Still Riding In The NorthEast

Moved from Texas to Florida almost 5 years ago. The thought of being able to ride year around is a correct one.......but not today. It was down in the low 40's this morning and only into the high 50's this afternoon. Probably sounds hot to some of you up north but cold for us down here. The...

    Differences between 2014, 2015, and 2016 Spyder RT-S trikes?

On my 2015 I have to wait. I know because my friend just bought a 2016 and does not have to wait. By some of these posts it sounds as if BRP may not have been consistent with this change.

    73 Year old rookie here

My experience was similar but I am a bit older at 78. After I began riding my doctor took me off of one of my blood pressure meds. Blood pressure was too low.
