• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

See my previous post. I weighed mine at 937# wet.

    Modern Retros

I too bought a 1973 Z10 and rode the bjeezus out of it. The new rendition brings back great memories and does justice to the original's iconic styling.

    STL or ST-S wet weight?

Well I used the airplane weighing technique of using a bathroom scale with 2x10 boards under the tires and just rolled each wheel on to the scale. It's probably as accurate as it would be going to a commercial scale where the accuracy might be questionable for lighter weights. Anyway, with a...

    STL or ST-S wet weight?

yazz, That's probably what I'll have to do -- I was hoping someone had already done that. If I do have it weighed, I'll post it here.

    STL or ST-S wet weight?

Yes, I understand all of the add on weights but when the given dry weight varies by about 160# there's no way to be sure what the true dry weight is and, manufacturers are notoriously dishonest in their published figures. My riders manual has a misprint for the dry weight which is given as...

    STL or ST-S wet weight?

I've tried a number of different searches to no avail. Has anyone actually weighed their ST-S or STL? I've found dry weights listed from roughly 850 -1020# It's important since I want to transport my ST-S (with bags) + an Aprilia Caponord Rally. The Rally's wet weight is 612#. I need...

    2013 Yellow ST-S SE5

Just for the record, BajaRon no longer has the ST shock collar. However, we've found out that the F3 shock will fit on the ST models.

    Brake light switch

I've ridden several hundred miles now since trimming about 2/3 of the rubber button and haven't had a recurrence of the brake light staying on. That doesn't mean it won't happen again since the brake switch is the old style and exposed to the elements.

Help ! F3 front shock info needed.

Thanks to ALS, it looks like the F3 shock will fit my ST-S -- so, I was able to purchase Fox Podium R shocks for $320 instead of over $800 for the pair.

Help ! F3 front shock info needed.

Help! Can someone tell me the width of the eye of the F3 Shock? Or, to put it another way, the distance between the front lower shock mount ears. I'm hoping it will be the same as my 2013 ST-s so I can replace my non adjustable shocks.

    Remote preload adjustable rear shock

Thanks, I looked at Elka shocks listed for the ST but none I saw had remote adjusters, same with Fox -- I guess I'll need to call the mfg. to find out for sure.

    Remote preload adjustable rear shock

Does anyone know of a replacement rear shock that has a remote preload adjuster? They're pretty common on motorcycles and it sure beats trying to manually move the adjustment rings like on the Elka.

    2013 Yellow ST-S SE5

Haze, I've seen a BajaRon shock pre load adjuster for the RT but not the ST. Can you tell me who supplied yours? Also, did you just replace the front shocks with the Elka's or did you also replace the rear? TIA John

    2013 Yellow ST-S SE5

I've spent the last several days adding farkles. Spyderpops belt guard and bump/skid plate (already contacted pavement with it twice), Bajaron swaybar and heim links, and a touring windshield. I got the brand new windshield as NOS for $56 delivered about $220 under retail even at that, I'm...

    Brake light switch

On my ride yesterday there were several occasions when the cruise control wouldn't activate letting me know that the brake light was on. This morning I took the right side panels off so I could check the rear brake -- I removed the stop rubber button and trimmed off about 2/3 of the thickness...

    2013 Yellow ST-S SE5

Is yours a generic question to anyone or is it directed to nwrider? If me, I don't think mine is particularly out of alignment -- more that after installing a BajaRon sway bar and noting than some have come set up from the factory miss-aligned, I want to be sure to get the best handling I can...

    2013 Yellow ST-S SE5

"You will be amazed at the difference." Made me think that you'd experienced the heat on the 2013. In any event, I'm hoping that Ride Now in Chandler will go to bat with BRP and order them for me gratis.

    2013 Yellow ST-S SE5

trbayth & mavrik, Did you have to wait for BRP to acknowledge your change of ownership before requesting the 2014 side panels? I just sent my paperwork to BRP today. I'm running 18 frnt 28 rear psi. Some of the roads around here have a ridge in the center which causes a pronounced wiggle...
