• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Pete thank you for your reply. I have read that a lot of people get a Stage 1; and then you see them sending it back for the Stage II reflash. Is there that much difference between the two?

    I have a 2012 Spyder RT Limited with the 998 v-twin and I just sent my ECU off to Wick-it in LA. It's there for a Stage 2 reflash. Waiting on the return of it. I did not unhook my battery, so I hope it will be ok.

    Have you had an ECU Flash? How long did it take? Any good?

    I am finding out that reflash is only good for the 1330's and nothing really for the 998's to justifies the money for a stage 1 with very little improvements in performance. I may be wrong but everything i have read is all for the 1330's and not for the 998's. Thank you for your time. Jim

    Yes you are right that piece is a block off panel so the heat does not cook your right foot. I put one on my 2012 spyder RT limited and it helped a lot. There is a Torx 30 screw that holds it on. It must have came undone. I hope this helped you. And yes Peter Aawen is right it is safe to ride...
