• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    6k maintenance...how much

Extreme Propulsion Inc in Cartersville GA charged $269.51 including oil change. Amazingly, they got the job done in under two hours. Other Georgia dealers' estimates were as high as $500+. I was extremely impressed with the price and service -- especially when compared to my home dealership...

    Fall Foliage

Cherohala now Rode the Cherohala day before yesterday. Lower elevations are peaking. Above 4500 feet is naked of leaves. Driving rain (no pun intended) at the moment --- 0900 on 10/19 --- will further reduce foilage. Lot of lane-wanderers in four-wheelers. Gotta be extra watchful. Headed...

    Spyderlovers recommended Service Centers

Great work, MUSICARCADE! Thanks for all the attention to detail. Anybody have feedback about Gainesville Motorsports northeast of Atlanta? Alcoa in TN appears to be off my list and the dealer in Hayesville NC doesn't do Spyders anymore. Need access to a reliable service center from Murphy in...

Here's what the 2011 Spyder Parts & Accessories catalog says about the Custom Vehicle Covers for RT's: ".... provides maximum vehicle protection while trailering...." and "Easy attach system secures cover in all trailering conditions." Just in time for Christmas!

Friends headed out of town for the holidays stopped by today and dropped off this beauty. Made by New Bright, it measures 17" long, 11" tall and 10" wide at front fenders. Powered by rechargeable 9.6 V. They didn't say where they got it, but according to internet chit-chat it's on sale at select...

christmas presents .. any ideas ??

Investigate the EXO 900 first My far-better-half and I wear EXO 900s. Knowing then what I know now, I'm not sure I'd choose them. I'm a fairly large guy so I wear a size XXL. Even so, the cheek pads are uncomfortably snug and actually work to seal off the ear canals, making helmet-to-helmet...

    Spyder Stealer - Beware

Tried to get me but failed Had the RT parked in a public lot on Main Street at Biketoberfest a few weeks ago. Returned to the bike a couple hours later. Noticed that someone tried to jimmy open the lock on the rear trunk. The lock held, though, and nothing was missing. I hate theives.......

Looking for opinions on the RT-622 trailer

622 is perfect for the RT Tracks the Silver Bullet flawlessly, and carries a bunch. Easy in, easy out for golf clubs . I bought it for long weekends, but also thinking that selling the RT will be easier when the time comes. If I have a complaint it's that the ECM doesn't remember that...

    Pix from North Carolina

Sounds like a plan He**, yeah! I'm thinking breakfast at Manny's in Bunnel. That's roughly halfway between us. Manny's moved from its original oceanfront location in Flagler Beach a few months ago due to economy. They'd appreciate the business and I would enjoy shaking Spyder hands. Saturdays...

    Pix from North Carolina

Just back from a week in Murphy in southwestern NC. Fall colors were peaking, especially at 3500 - 4000 feet on the Cherohala Skyway. Weather was perfect, and NC has some of the best maintained roads in the country. Here's a few pix for those unable to make the journey...
