• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    As you're coming into town watch for the Fort William Henry hotel and conference center on the right side of the Rd you'll see signs hanging on the fence. I didn't go into the vendors but I know that's where they're at.

    Having the 2009 and I asked and checked on the same thing but in the end I get the oil filter gaskets from bajaron you'll get it faster then you think and to answer a question if the oil matters YES! I do race mine often and the amsoil seems to help with clutch more then I can say.

    If you're going to paint. You might want to get adhesion promoter even where the tape is being put.. But if you get them powder coated you won't ever have to worry about them again. IMHO

    I've rolled a car and yes the seat belt saved me. But I've put a bike down at over 120mph if I didn't get away from the bike I wouldn't be here. I'm thinking if something happens even with a spyder I want to be able to get away from it. Air bag OK maybe but I'd still have to say no to a seat...

    Also check out your plug wires, really check for cracks where they come off the coils along the frame they have a tendency to dry n crack being so close to the exhaust pipe. Can cause non firing in plug on n off as a crack opens. If you need new ones try the ones from bajaron. Definitely worth...

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but depending on manufacturer date as in mine, it's a 09 but manufacturered in 08 and is listed as a 09 GS.

    I'm probably going to jinks myself but mines a 09 still original battery has never seen a charger or maintainer and I'm in upstate NY so it sits all winter.
