• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    HD rider killing it

Agreed. The (near) knee dragging was good and the Harley made it more so. I know there are those who'll disagree but I'm seriously tired of reckless stunting on public roads.

    So excited I can't wait

Happy and safe riding! Careful with all that fast food or you'll be pit stopping every few miles.

    A good Spyder article

I wish I had a Spyder to learn on. Can't get any kind of learners permit here in FL. Have to take a course to get an endorsement before you can ride.

    Thanks guys. :)

    commercial for the Spyder

I'm surprised I haven't seen any here in Florida.

    Newb...first group ride

Just browsing Spyder and other rider videos on YouTube there some really vile, hate filled human beings out there.

What about Riders 1st motorcycle being a Spyder?

Have limited (hey, let me try that!) two-wheel experience and absolutely no trike. Posted in the general forum about the trouble I had trying to mount a '18 F3 at a dealership, total disaster. Not too worried about the classroom stuff, pretty good at that. I just don't want to not be be able to...

    A good Spyder article

Makes me nervously anticipate my upcoming beginners 3-wheel course next month even more. Scared, psyched, worried, excited. All wrapped up in one neurotic bundle.

What about Riders 1st motorcycle being a Spyder?

And I nervously await my 2 day course next month with OOSI.

Are you swayed by negative reviews for a product?

I'll consider a 4-star item. I've even bought items that were lower (my 3D printer has some deplorable reviews on Amazon) but I knew in advance what I needed to do to mod it into a very good printer.

    She's amazing.

What about Riders 1st motorcycle being a Spyder?

FL's made it law - "Starting on July 1, 2008 the State of Florida requires that new Motorcyclists (regardless of age) must take and pass the Basic Rider Course through the Florida Rider Training Program before they get a motorcycle only license or can have the Motorcycle Endorsement added to...

Are you swayed by negative reviews for a product?

I shop on Amazon a LOT - On Amazon I always check the overall star rating; If the item is under 4 stars (with some exceptions) I stop right there. Over 4 and I start browsing the lowest star reviews first. It's fairly easy to see who's angry because shipping took too long (irrelevant in a...

    Need Some Suggestions

I haven't. I didn't realize I might have a problem getting on until after I booked a nonrefundable course and nonrefundable three night stay in downtown Kissimmee. Since I can't get that money back it doesn't matter what model(s) they have I'm going to show up for the class. Thanks for the well...

    Need Some Suggestions

Thanks but I was using my attempt at mounting the F3 as a general 'I'm not sure I can fit any Spyder' worry. An F3 is out of my price range. . . most are but I've seen a few with low miles down in the $7k range. Not a chance in Heaven I'll be buying new. Sucks to be poor.

    Need Some Suggestions

I considered posting there but I think this issue of getting on the Spyder is more due to my obesity and stubby little legs. I don't think it was a disability issue, granted being disabled made it harder but my limitations being outside of the disability. If (I hope, though the used STs on...

    Need Some Suggestions

Definitely not for me. The narrowness is really scary. I appreciate the suggestion though! I saw a 250cc Piaggio with an outrigger kit in the back (technically now a 5-wheeler?) at a good price at cycletrader.com but I'm not going to think about buying until after my course. My biggest problem...

What about Riders 1st motorcycle being a Spyder?

I intend hope to be that person. . . well, without the indestructible mindset.

    Need Some Suggestions

Other than the F3's I tried the only other Spyders they had in the showroom were full dressers with big tall backrests and trunks/panniers. I might be able to maneuver around lower bags I couldn't conceive of a way to get me over that limited opening without scratching up a ride I could not...

    Need Some Suggestions

Some info about me (Hi! I'm new here!) I'm disabled and use a walker to get around. I'm left. . . sided (hand/leg) but the left leg has issues. Ankle doesn't rotate, elevate or depress well, lacks about 30% strength. I'm also 338 lbs and 5'8" with a 25" inseam. I have wanted to ride since I was...
