• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Trailer Wiring

I was surprised it wasn't 4 square. I saw it was 4 pins in a square, had read the standard was a square plug but didn't look at the shape of the socket. I hope it doesn't create any problems. Guess I'll find out when I hook it up!

After looking at the female receptacle it shouldn't be difficult to find a plug. Should have looked closer before I posted.:sour:

    Trailer Wiring

I have a 2012 RTL that has the hitch and wiring harness (4 pin). I bought a Cyclemate trailer (4 flat) and would like to change the male end on the trailer. I believe this would be the easiest. Where would I buy the end and is this the best approach?

    Trading RTL

We have a place just east of Rapid City. We can be in the Black Hills in just a few minutes. Big Horns, I hadn't thought of that trip, I bet that crossing west of Ranchester is an interesting drive. It makes me pucker to cross it pulling a camper! Thanks for the information. I will have to...

    Trading RTL

I was able to buy the 2012 for 14k this summer and they claim to be offering me about that for a trade-in. I would like to ride a 1330 but will have to wait for a...

    Trading RTL

We didn't buy it until August. I am still working but plan to retire in a few years. I doubt I will ride it more than 6,000 miles per year until retirement. Yes it is a big investment, I hoped to get more performance from the new 1330. Maybe not worth the cost to trade but considering it.

    Trading RTL

I bought a used 2012 RTL this summer with 4,500 miles on it. We really enjoyed it but only rode it about 700 miles. I am considering trading it off for a new 2016. What are the major improvements since 2012? Obviously the larger engine, slower RPMs and better gas mileage. My wife and I ride 2 up...

    Attach battery tender for winter....

Tender I just bought a 2012 RT and it has the tender pigtail attached under the seat. I thought I read somewhere this is a problem, that it should be connected to the battery. Aren't the posts under the seat where you could charge or boost if necessary? Thanks

    Zumo 660 alternatives?

2012 RT GPS I just bought a used 2012 RT LTD. It has the GPS bracket but no GPS. Is the 660 the only unit that will fit the bracket? I really don't want to buy a new one looking for a used replacement. Thanks
