• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Moving from RT to F3 - Have a few questions for those who have done this

I own both a 2014 RT and a 2015 F3s. The F3 is configured for solo riding (my bike) and I enjoy pushing it trough te twisties without fear of being beat on by the boss. We enjoy a more relaxing ride on the RT and usually ride with our local Spyder club. Both machines have their place and I do...

    What now??

Wait for the Honda Neo Wing, there will be a flood of used Spyder's on the market. Too many people have been frustrated BRP not owing up to mgf defects. I have owned several Spyder's and will be the first in line to trade my Spyder for a reliable Honda. I've had it with BRP and their lack of...

    Lamonster RIP Boards ...

When I installed the RIP boards, the bushing just slid out. You may end up pushing out the rubber bushing along with the metal sleve, just push the rubber bushing back in. You actually did the hard part, using heat to remove the screws. I had to replace my #5 position with a #4 to properly...

    CAT BYPASS

Installed the cat on my 2015 F3 SE, hated the sound and backfire with each shift. After 100 miles took it off, reinstalled the converter, sold the pipe for $200. I did not notice any major power or torque increase. From my experience save your money.

A rattle when i go over bumps on my RT 2010 Spyder

Yeah, I had the same rattle on my 2014 when mounting or dismounting, only on the right side. Get it up and tighten the links around the steering mechanism, that solved the problem. I first had my wife sit on the bike and move from side to side, this way you can actually observe the linkage and...

    SS GRILL

With a little egg on my face, I will repurchase the SS Grill and attempt the install as you described. I'll be sure to let you know how I make out. Thanks for your help and patience.

    Big City Thunder Baffle

Yeah, I installed the by-pass pipe and did not like the 2 cycle dirt bike sound and backfire with every shift. I removed the pipe and sold it for $200. Yes, I lost $100 but I just had to try it. I'm currently running stock muffler with converter on my 2015 F3S

    SS GRILL

I'm still not getting it yet - did you slide the lip of the grill between the body and the bump skid then drill through the original bump skid hole and then the ss grill? That would make sense to me to remove the bump skid screw, slide in the grill, drill, then use a longer screw through the...

    SS GRILL

With the Lamonster Skid plate installed, the lower lip on the SS Grill has to fit between the skid plate and frame, no way unless you cut the lower lip off of the SS Grill. The SS Grill should fit using the longer bolts supplied. If I cut the lower lip on the SS grill, it will fit with my skid...

    REAR SHOCK

It is cheaper to install the bracket (parts costs for L bracket, 6 bolts and 2 nuts, $30) then to replace the shock. With the reinforcement bracket in place apparently BRP does not care if you bottom out all day. Lose weight and stop riding 2 up on the stock F3.

Take a look at the WebBoards. Just installed both the boards and Spyder on my 2015 F3S, I think they look great and functional. http://eye.fi/Swtfp9

    SS GRILL

The SS Grill will not fit with a Bumpskid installed. I purchased the SS Grill and there is insufficient room between the SS and Bumpskid. I returned the SS to the dealer.

Calling all 2014-2015 RT owners with "Belt Vibration"

RT vibration Out of balance tires Really is the problem. I was experiencing the same vibration problem at speeds mirrors shake, fenders shake and windshield. I took my RT to a Hunter dealer with a dynamic balance machine and found my wheels were totally out of balance. He took off all the...

Stripped T-40 and T-45 oil drain plugs

I finally I got both plugs removed with a lot of brute force. Using a combination of heat and taking Joe's advice, hammering in a 6mm hex into the T-40 did the trick. You are correct, the Gold Plug is too shallow to catch the engine drain thread. The BRP plug is about 2 inches with a couple...
