• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    F3 WINDSHIELD ADAPTER

I have this one. It's attached to my Blue Ridge windshield. I'm 6'1" and it helps, but it's still not tall enough for me. If you are under 6' then it'll work well. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EQ9FSEO?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00 Ron

    Windshield question

The dealership's customer service in the shop SUCKS. It took 3 times for them to get the Aux lights right. After the lights, I did all the rest of the installs myself just so I could have it done right. I'll try another dealer in Ft Lauderdale and see.

    Replacing Blue Ridge windshield

You wouldn't believe the crap I had to go through with them on the Aux lights. 3 times I told them they were installed wrong and they kept telling me that they were. When I explained to them the exact issue, which jcthorne provided, they didn't believe me. "People on forums aren't mechanics...

    Replacing Blue Ridge windshield

I'm looking to replace my Blue Ridge windshield with the Madstad one. Anyone know where I can get the stock bolts that get replaced in the windshield install? The ones on either side of the instruments and the ones at the pivot point in front. Dealer threw them away during install. Thanks Ron

    Windshield question

I have the Blueridge windshield and am thinking of swapping it out for the Madstad. However when I look at how the Blueridge is installed I have to assume that the dealer replaced a couple bolts where the instrument panel is. I never got the old parts nor the instructions when they installed...

I got everything on and I'll see if I can get the dealer to order a replacement. The epoxy works, but I just don't feel comfortable. Thanks Ron

Thanks! I have compressed air, break cleaner and good old fashioned soap and water. I'll add it to my weekly cleaning routine to touch up the rotors and calipers. Thanks again! Ron

    Break Squeak!

I have just over 1700 miles on my F3. I have terrible break squeaking and the dealer is telling me it's normal. "Just clean the rotors and calipers with soap and water and it'll go away" They tell me that Spyders are notorious for break dust build up. The dealer washed the front wheels and...

    Saddlebags Yay!!! Almost...

I was so psyched!!! My saddlebags came in. I went by the dealer and took a quick look at the instructions and decided to do the install myself. It's pretty straight forward and I do work on my car once in a while. Although I'm not a mechanic. So, I laid out all the parts. Read the...

    Aux Lights help

I had the dealership install the Aux Lights and am convinced they are morons. Now, that is based on the assumption that the lights are supposed to perform similar to fog lights. Wide and Low. Here are a couple pics. The first one is of just my low beams. The second is with the Aux lights. (I...

    ECONOMY

I'm getting 33-36 on my F3-s NOT in economy mode. I would expect a couple more in eco. Approx 1750 miles. I drive like my 350Z Nismo. Fast to speed, quick stop. (But always paying attention!!!)

    Passenger Backrest Security

I had the backrest installed at the dealership last week and I noticed that there is no locking mechanism. The dealer stated that the back seat must be removed to remove the backrest. This is NOT true. I left the seat on and popped the backrest off easily. This made me very nervous because I...

    F3 Gas Mileage

Thanks a bunch. I'll wait and check it again when I reach 2500+ miles. I just hit 1000 so it shouldn't take long ;) I'm sitting at about 31 mpg around town.

Detachable Passenger backrest 219400499 On my new Spyder

Congrats! Congrats!!! I have about 1000 miles on mine now. I can't get enough of it. I have the passenger backrest. However, I can't see how someone can fit on the passenger seat with both backrests installed. It looks as thought the driver's backrest would be in the crotch of the passenger...
