• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Seat cushions? What works and what don't?

I recently had this conversation and most guys were saying try the airhawk if money is a concern(which it is in my case). I have an RS but I ride it similar to a cruiser and long rides are in my near future so comfort is important to me.

    It finally happened...

Hello all, I hope that you are ready to jump right over hump day with ease. The past several weeks the "check engine" light and message has been coming on my spyder. It has happened before but once every so many months, but lately almost every day. Normally I just turn the spyder off and leave...

    What's your preference?

I am kind of surprised that people who like all roads is pretty much neck and neck with folks who prefer the curvey roads. I figured twisting roads would run away with this pole.

    Bourget Scorpion RT (SPYDER?)

Unless it was uncomfortable for a man of my size, I would definitely ride this beauty. It would be my "Spyder Chopper" that I would ride on weekends and to special events and my RS-s would be my main ride along with my truck of course. Is the Bourget Scorpion semi-automatic? I hope so, if not...

    What's your preference?

Hello all, it's great to be alive on a day that ends in Y(if you are alive on any other days...never mind ). Most folks I know who ride a motorcycle/roadster enjoy "twisties" and the fun curves. This transcends age groups too. I've rode with guys in my age group, folks younger, and some older...

    Dealers

Richardson Motorsports I purchased and have all of my service done at Richardson Motorsports. Kyle, Paul, and the crew are always helpful to me. Now, I haven't had any major issues so I can't speak to any recalls(outside of the gas top) but as for general service and customer service I think...

I hate to admit it but...

I have a droid phone, but I think its the same concept as with the iPhone...you plan the trip from your computer and you can send it to your GPS or email the route to someone. Any trips you save will show up on the smartphone app.

    Average age of Spyder owners?

I am 38. What I see from a lot of folks in my age group is peer pressure to ride what has proven to be accepted. HD or Hayabusa or Suzuki is "cool" so they can't buck the system. My RS-S gets the same attention as the other sports bikes, if not more. But the guys can't go against the grain. Now...

    it's silly, so i probably won't... but

Will any rain gear do or is their specific kind for motorcycle riders? I've heard of "frog togs?" But those are not in regular stores, are they?

    it's silly, so i probably won't... but

I would have some rain gear by now but I'm a big guy so ordering gear on line can be a hard call. A 2x on one sight may be good but I may need 3x on another. :banghead:
