• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Bumpskid - LED or not?

Is it what you want? Then do it. As for doing it yourself or paying the piper....we'll sometimes when you do it yourself, what looks/sounds like an easy task and should only take 1/2 hour to do, ends up taking you a lot longer and more expensive than just buying it. How handy are you?

Is it just me or what???

Great responses......I also use the trip odometer as my best gauge. My practice on long runs is to stop about every 100 miles, stretch and fill 'er up again. I liked the article on how the fuel gauge works. Makes sense on what I'm seeing, now that I read that article. Curious about the thread...

Is it just me or what???

I was riding the other day with a full tank, and it seems you can go forever and the gas gauge moves so slowly down to the half tank mark. After that, it seems like there is a sucking sound and the gauge drops much faster towards the empty mark!!!! Is it just my imagination???

    Harbor freight Lift

I just got the same lift as Cavman, from Sears for $189. Works great. The one you are looking at, because of the bar at the forks, may not fit fully under the bike, especially if you have floor boards.

    Spyder Rack Available 5/22/15

Looks interesting. What are the dimensions? Width, depth, height? What's the distance from floor of rack to bottom of license? Seems perfect for when you need just a little more storage. Also, it appears you remove the ball and place this on the support arms and re-insert the ball. Doesn't...

    Deer vs Spyder

The Big Man was watching you and has other things for you to do. Glad the injuries were not life threatening. Here's to a speedy recovering and many more "pleasant" riding miles.

    Luggage Rack

Try this instead of the luggage rack for the trunk. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Goldwing-Harley-Motorcycles-Universal-Trailer-Hitch-Receiver-Rack-B52-828-/111236067905?hash=item19e62fb241&vxp=mtr They used to have one for $75 - but seems like they took that off the listings.

    SpyderFest tribute to Veterans

At the auction Saturday night, it looked like a spontaneous tribute was extended to all the veterans in the audience. Not sure if this was planned or just one of those "spur of the moment thoughts" but it was gracious, appreciated and touching. I was one of many vets that walked to the stage...

Check-in on your ryde home from SpyderFest '15

Made it back to Omaha, NE - ran into the same winds, but were fortunate enough to miss the rain. Coming into Omaha, we skirted around the storm and made it home without any rain. Real strong winds though. SpyderFest was 'AWESUME' --- the weather was exceptional and it might be a long time...

Luggage rack for hitch - $75

It's just a stock picture off Ebay. I have a 2014 RTL - and had no issues with the fit. I'm using a leather bag that I got when riding 2 wheelers. It's roughly 16" wide x 18" tall x 6 inches thick. Fits nicely and doesn't hide my license plate. The hardest part of installation was getting...
