• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Hydrographic printing finished

Durable Hi Bob, well I have to say the bike looks very different than one that still has the original look. I went for a ride with some friends and one of them has an untouched black rt-s and they really did look miles apart. being all black seems to make it look lower and longer. Anyway...

Limp home warming with handle bar picture

I second that I second all of the above, it happened to me during the early days of ownership. All hell broke loose and I had orange lights all over the dash. It might be that you rested your foot on the brake or your brake switch is on it's way out. You say you just got it back from a...

    Flickering Lights and Gauges

Just for thought I had this problem, but I also had the LED light flickering when I switched off. Found out after much deliberation that the problem was on the battery connections either side of the seat and also the brake lights switch was faulty, Good luck and ride safe!

Wiring tech guys this is for you!

Hi again guys, thought I'd push your knowledge just that little bit further. So the next project is fitting some driver running lights on my RT. After nearly running into a driver who said "He just didn't see me" the next mod has unfolded. So I've bought the lights and fitted them,(great) I've...

    Cable connector block?

thanks guys thanks guys, just wanted to make sure before I started looking at putting in my own wiring, I think the next step is to get a volt meter and check if the wires are ground - or positive +. Next would be to find the end or plug connector.;)

    Cable connector block?

Has anybody had experience of a cable connector block that sits just below the blank plate next to the row of 3 switches? I'm looking to fit some fog lights and I know on later models they have this switch in the 4th switch position. I'll see if I can take some pics to help.

    Splash guards

Possible? I think anything is possible, what I'm finding is the limitation on what you can do with this sort of printing is the size of your bath. (not your house bath!) the dipping bath has to be deep enough to allow the whole object to be submerged with room. So yes you could do this on the...

    Splash guards

Learning curve IT's a big learning curve, all of the graphics react differently. So it's not that easy to go and do it straight away, like you see it on you tube. I'm going to do the side panels next hopefully this weekend.;)

Just how do the Brake Switches work?

Testing time OK so tonight I put the last switch in the brake plate and wired it up. I put a bit of double sided sticky tape between the switches first then I screwed them down and locked the nuts off. Had a bit of trouble with the brake piston alignment but in the end It went back in and I...

Just how do the Brake Switches work?

Sticky switch I'm going with the switches first. Being in the UK everthing is expensive, the two switches cost aroung $95 but in the UK that would be around £110 with posting and tax, and thats $140, so looking on local websites I found this, Cost for the two switches in the UK £11...

Just how do the Brake Switches work?

Stuck in the UK, planted in Wales We in the UK dont have the pleasures of a lot dealers with BUDs I think it's only 2 and 0 in Wales. (But I could be wrong) and at roughly 400-450 Spyders thats not enough, so all this help is really appriciated, I think Can Am should look at this situation and...

Just how do the Brake Switches work?

Interesting Humm, I'm just thinking now that maybe it could be more than the switches, I definately had the alarms come up when I had no feet on the pedal brake. I took the top off the brake bottle and the fluid was right at the top. p0504 keeps popping up on every alarm as well as 5 others...
