• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Service warranty?

    It will not void your warr. if a dealer does not do it.I had a car last week that had its first oil change at 25k,now it knocks,they think its under warr.They lost that fight. Check to see what the extended warr. covers,they are well worth the the money!!!!!

    Turbocharged Spyder?

    Im shure a turbo can be done and hold up.I work with a guy at honda who has a honda civic with a turbo etc.has it dyno at allmost 450hp out of a 1.6 liter,we all said it will never hold up,well 3 yrs later it still runs and SMOKED my managers corvette at the track 2 times in 1 day LOL....

    Got new wheels... now what?

    car shop.I work at a car shop and I have changed tires on cars,big truck tires,my old motorcycle,even my lawn mower.my tire changer cost over 8k.most cycle shops dont have one like this.

    What has fixed your power steering?Have heard some say gear position sensor,others control unit.My dealer says he has a ECU update.He hasnt done one yet because im the first one to cry about my P.S.so he is not shure it will fix it...some days it works,other days it doesnt,other days its choppy...

    First cold weather ride...Need winter gloves, or glove warmers...

    I use thinsulate 100 gram gloves,coldwave gear,and a snowmobile helmet.Have ridden to under 20F.Im never cold.My hands sweat at 35f ...I could ride another 20 less and still stay warm.I see no need for electric anything.Ill be out on the outlander for 8 hrs tomorrow and be warm while my friends...

    BRP Helmets

    wore my snowmobile helmet for the first time today in the snow on the spyder.might not be for street use but is 100% safer than my shoei in the cold wet weather.It did NOT fog up at all.and is a lot warmer.Will be back to the shoei when it warms up......:2thumbs:

    I have a hmf optimizer on my can-am outlander,with a slip-on.should be very close to the same thing.have used for 1 year,super easy to install and have had no problems..........:2thumbs:,,,,,,,,,,,,,ill be buying a juice box from mm after the first of the year.

    What if you drop your helmet? There is also a lot of fear mongering about dropped helmets. This is a problem because no one can ever guarantee that a helmet has not sustained any damage in a drop. How many 'little' drops affect the helmet' s ability to protect the wearer in the event of that...

    I like to see we have some tough riders here!For the cold I bought a coldgear coldwave 2 piece suit.and thinsulate 100gram gloves my hands ill sweat on the coldest of days.I am impressed with coldgear they are not cheap but keeps me warm,they have liners to remove when it gets warm.:thumbup:

    its getting cold here,what is the coldest some of you have gone for a ride?At least 20 miles+.not a ride to get the mail. im at 27 now
