• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    CHAD Windshield, Feedback Please

I also have the Kewlmetal bar set up and like it. I also have a Russell seat that has raised me about an inch. I just got a CHAD but have not been able to use it yet because we still have snow and ice here in MN. As soon as I do I will post my thoughts on it. Since I am only 4'10" my seat...

Russell or Corbin Saddle? It's decision time. Owners of either; what say you?

We had a Corbin seat on my husband's old bike and hated it - we were sore after riding for only a short time. So I put a Russell seat on my Spyder and love it. The Russell is made specifically for you. In my case, they moved me forward a bit. I also got the rider backrest. I think it looks...

Michigan is having a heat wave!!!

I am sooooo jealous!! We are still in the deep freeze here in Minnesota. Because of all the ice and snow I have not been able to ride since November. It is finally beginning to melt and we are supposed to get snow tomorrow and next Tuesday!

ME TOO!!! Living in Minnesota, we have snow and lots of salt on the roads. We won't be riding for a while. I go out and look at Spyder and dream! Winnie

    Russel Day Long Seat

I got mine back just in time for snow here, so I only have a short ride in. I love it!! It positions me right where I want to be on the Spyder, and no more butt burn!! I also ordered the backrest for me and really like it. I will be able to rest against it as I need to on longer trips. It...

A True Winter experience with Spyder

Wow!! I don't know if you guys are courageous or just plain crazy! Glad you both made it home safe. Our bikes are tucked away unless we get a warm spell. I don't like to risk ice or salt. Winnie

Women motorcycle riders switching to Spyders

My husband still rides his BMW. Traveling together on the 2 machines is great!! I am 4'10" tall. When I couldn't get really comfortable and confident on a 2 wheeler, I was concerned that I was a safety hazard.

Women motorcycle riders switching to Spyders

I have been riding double with my husband for 25 years. 4 years ago I decided to learn to ride myself. I could never get to the place where I felt totally confident on a 2 wheeler. I demo rode a Spyder and was confident and comfortable right away. I've had mine for a year now and LOVE it. I...

I am so impressed with this "Family"

Thanks Deb for expressing what I have noticed too. I always look forward to reading the posts here. I like that we can say what we want in such a respectful way, even when we disagree. It's a good family to be a part of!:agree:

300 miles with a major rain test

Wow!! I am amazed the Spyder handled all that. I had heard that with that much water on the road it would hydroplane. I'm delighted to hear it handled so well.

do people pull out in front of you on the spyder as much as a mc

Haven't had anyone pull out in front of me so far. They seem to more when my husband is on his motorcycle.

Any New Ideas on Highway Pegs In the Works ?

Matt, That is the highway peg I want! Will the mounting position be fixed or can it be mounted where I need it? I'm 4'10" and will probably need it closer than most people. What do you mean when you say the final position will be "out a little more?" Winnie

    Spyder Cruise Control

Lamonster, do you know anything about these guys? They say they have a cruise control for the Spyder. Much more expensive than the Audio Vox, but maybe it's worth it. www.mccruise.com/
