• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Ryker snowmachine?

If it snows in KC like they are predicting tomorrow night, you can bet your bottom dollar I will be out doing donuts in the church parking lot Saturday morning! :ohyea:

    Handlebar rotation

From the start, my objective is to take this roadster type platform and make it closer to a cruiser. People can make fun of me that I have added a cup holder, GPS, gel seat pad, backrest mounted storage, etc.... but, not to over-dramatize it, the handlebar modification and adding lumbar support...

    Handlebar rotation

A picture of my Rally with the cable hold downs pointed forward after performing the steps mentioned at the beginning of this thread. The difference may be the amount of rotation after inverting??? Not sure. Used the original holes for the grip guards as well.

    Off-roading

And to clarify.... The initial clunk is expected with shaft drive... But the secondary pop I hear/feel a moment later under acceleration is what has been unnerving. Just gotta get use to it is what I have been told. Be nice to know what makes that sound???

    Off-roading

So, I don't have much to report other than the Ryker can easily hit 95 mph. I did that unintentionally yesterday when passing a truck. Was like, "Whoa Nelly!" Secondly, I actually did take the Rally off-road yesterday... in a pasture... riding 2-up! And, let me say, that was a blast. Had no...

    Lumbar support

Thanks, folks! Seriously, if your back is like mine, the effort is worth it!

    Ryker IMO

That is awesome!!! Glad the lights are bright!! Everyone I know calls it the bat cycle as if Batman would be driving it. roflmao A little warmer here today in KS/MO. Ready to stretch the legs of my Rally with my riding partner. Added a topical gel pad to the rear seat for more butt comfort...

    Lumbar support

Added this today. Big help to supporting the lower back! Piece of 10" long steel flat bar. Holes drilled and tapped into the max mount frame. Primed, painted and installed. Back support was off of something else (unknown origin) but you can buy similar on Amazon I presume.

    Passenger backrest adjustment?

Anyone know if the locking tension can be adjusted? I just installed mine and was disappointed how floppy it was out of the box. Maybe easily adjustable???

    Handlebar rotation

Not sure if this picture will show exactly what you would like to see. Next project is add a lumbar support! I am gonna do my best to make this a pseudo touring machine.

    Ground effect light kit

Appreciate the info! It is my understanding that as long as the LEDs are not directly visible, flashing, or displayed in red, there are no laws restricting their use in Kansas. In Missouri, to my knowledge there are no specific anti-use laws but blue is considered a police color so best not to...

    Ground effect light kit

I used the AMBOTHER 8 piece kit. 40 bucks on Amazon I actually wired the power to the battery tender quick disconnect connector my dealer installed so if some reason I needed to disable the system, all I have to do is pull the connector apart. I don't like seeing the lights but rather...

    Ground effect light kit

Installed a body light kit today I got off of Amazon. The kit included 8 strips and one small remote control that fits on your keychain. It was only about 40 bucks. If you want to install one, I'd be happy to tell you how things went for me (method and strategy). Biggest initial advice I...

Cup holder installed. Gotta have one of those!

    Handlebar rotation

At least we know know it can be done on the cheap. ;) Next project is the under body light kit.

    Handlebar rotation

It was a DIY project. And responding to an earlier post, they were not originally installed incorrectly... Just not to my liking. By rotating them approximately 180 degrees after flipping them, they sit taller and a bit closer to me. It took me a couple hours but others might be able to do it...

    GPS mount

Sweet!!! I just mounted my Garmin to the handlebar using a normal mount. Once I got the bars rotated and in a higher position, it put ithe GPS at a decent height but not as nice as yours! Great job!

    My Ryker Has Landed!

From deceleration and from reverse to forward... An initial clunk (expected) then a lighter "pop" as you roll on the throttle
