• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Bad News Good News

Nothing I can say I'm sure nothing I can say will take your concern away at this time. I will never forget the words "you have cancer" coming from my doctors mouth. After surgery, chemo, and lots of praying that has been 26 years ago. The best to you and your family. I wish you all the...

    Great trip

pics A couple of Texas pics. Myself on the left, my brother in the middle, and my brother in law on the right while visiting Lugenbach Tx standing in front of my Spyder. No, the second pic is not my relative but not something I've seen on the streets of Indiana:)

What do you wear on your Spyder? In HOT weather?

helmet I agree with your helmet statement. I believe wearing a helmet also changes the way others on the road treat you as someone who is safety aware and cares about their life. One reason I don't wear a full face helmet is I like for people to see my face and make eye contact if possible...

    Spyder accident in Redford, Michigan

very sad This is very sad and one of my personal greatest fears while on the road on my bike or in my auto. So many people are distracted while driving, I wish something could be done to help all of us be more aware and alert. My heartfelt condolences to the family of this gentleman and to the...

What do you wear on your Spyder? In HOT weather?

Riding gear I have worked in the emergency department for over 30 years and have seen some nasty motorcycle injuries. Wear what you want but be prepared to suffer the consequences. I've seen road rash to the bone, well actually into the bone, and on the other hand I've seen some critically...

    2014/2015 RS versus ST?

RS/ST I own a 2014 RS sm5 and have ridden a 2012 ST sm5. They are quite different in handling, comfort, and power. The ST is considerably more comfortable and has a more soft cushy ride yet seems a little sluggish on handling and power. The RS I find comfortable in a different way. You sit...

    Short ride uncovered issues?

numbness I agree, probably not the bike although getting your handlebars closer to you may help the problem. Also using your cruise control so you can change the position of your right arm will help. The next time it happens try bending your neck forward or to the left and see if it resolves...

    Great trip

Yes, If I did that trip very many times I would probably upgrade the seat. I just don't want to spend money on something I don't like better that what I have. My goal was to stop for fuel every 140 - 150 miles but found myself stopping every 75 to 100 miles as a rule. especially when ridding...

    Great trip

Returned home yesterday after riding from Indiana to Kerrville TX on my Spyder RS:) :)I know it's as basic as basic can be and it has no special seat and not many extras, it is a v-twin and not a triple. The bike performed beautifully! I rode over 2300 miles in 5 days of travel and my only real...
