• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Questions on a 2014 RS

RS I purchased a new 2014 RS sm5 in Feb. and have about 2000 miles ridden so far. No problems yet, it seems solid and is very comfortable for me. I did add 4 inch risers, tall windshield, and back rest plus a few other personal customizations. Leaving on a 2000 mile plus trip next week and...

    Elio Trike

Reservarion I've got a reservation for one, think it's # 10,004 but I can't remember for sure. I was pretty excited for the first year or two. I think it's a good concept but knew all along they would have difficulty financing it. To many reasons for other companies not to want it to happen...

    I need more power, Scotty!

closed minded I didn't think of it like that. Your correct and I do understand where your coming from. This is the first bike I've owned that I haven't purchased multiple power upgrades for, it's just not why I ride the Spyder. I will try to be a little less closed minded:)

    NANNY EXPERIENCES

Thanks for the reply. It is good to know that the only nanny interventions you have had in 115,000 miles of riding have been on water and you can run the twisties well without triggering VSS intervention.

    NANNY EXPERIENCES

I haven't had any and feel that I ride fairly aggressively at times especially on the familiar twisties. I have just been wondering if nanny is something that would scare the crap out of me when I do find her. I thought one time that maybe the bike slowed very briefly in a hard corner but...

Any tips for taming the 'Dragon'?

2 cents worth; I found it difficult to just cruise the Dragon like I intended. Much heavier and faster traffic than I had anticipated. I felt pressure to perform and can see how an inexperienced rider could get into trouble.
