• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    I Found The Thrill

Our Spyder is my wife's ride primarily. I am fortunate enough at my advanced age (56) to still be able to ride 2-wheelers at 7/10th's. BUT I will say that I really dig getting out on the Spyder. I was like the OP at first.....no defying gravity? where's the fun in that? I have found that...

    Doc Humphrey's vibration dampener

I know that everyone already knows this, but hey, we are brand new to the Spyder world, so i wanted to give my thoughts on this product. First off, thanks everyone for pushing us toward this product to resolve the belt vibration issues. I was a little skeptical at first, as I misunderstood...

Spyder is REALLY different - tried test ride, barely made it out of the dealer's lot

very good point regarding the position of the spyder compared to two wheels. Since we have an F3 with a short windshield it helps as that is my reference point while riding. As I am looking forward and down the road, I keep the top of the windscreen centered in the lane, and it keeps the...

    First Spyder 2018 F3 limited

Excellent! The spyder is what got my wife back on the road with fists in the air after a nasty spill on a two-wheeler.

    F3S Battery tender

+1 I took Highwayman's advice and did the same. works perfectly. the pigtail just hangs over the top suspension member. riding does not dislodge it, and it does not get close to anything hot. I just get off the spyder, reach down and plug it in....

    Vibration Damper

Ah, ok, Steve Humphrey's sent me a link to a video that Lamonster put together regarding installing this on an F3. I get the premise now. I had it in my head just from descriptions that this had to be installed somewhere up near the crank, and it was very involved requiring a lot of mechanical...

    Vibration Damper

we noticed this on our new 2016 F3 Limited. right when we are passing through 55 mph and then again at 65 mph. As severe as this vibration is, I am wondering why BRP does just not fix this as a warranty issue? I saw someone mention that BRP sells a damper for $39.95 (I get that people feel...

    Only 3rd Gear)

That's excellent. We also got the 3 year extension to the warranty through BRP. It's a piece of mind thing for us. Yes, I fully understand those folks that say that by and large, extended warranties are a waste of money, but in the performance car/vehicle department, we have done pretty well...

    Bad Day For Big Red

depending on when the OP purchased it, since it's a 2016, I would think this would be covered under warranty?

    Metal Valve Stem

+1 on Discount Tire. i have been buying my tires exclusively from them for 20 years or so, and would never consider anyone else.

Battery tender connection-where the heck is it?

Yes, I have always used the Battery Tender Brand on all my cars and bikes. I actually hooked up a pigtail to the battery this afternoon. I was just hoping there was a connection for it under the passenger seat since now I have to route the pigtail from the battery around the backside of the...

    F3T shifting question

Absolutely it's ok! I refuse to let any machine on two or three wheels shift for me....ever....I have the SE6, but i always control what gear I'm in, even when slowing to a stop at a red light :D

Question Concerning Baja Ron's Sway Bar

This is timely. I am getting a Baja Ron's ASB installed on ours in a couple of weeks. At first the service department said "I think it's 4 hours labor because you have to take the front end off, but my Spyder tech is not here today so he would know for sure"....I immediately sicked Adam, the...

Battery tender connection-where the heck is it?

thanks folks. No problem, I can certainly attach one to the battery terminals in the front trunk, if it's not already there. thanks.

Battery tender connection-where the heck is it?

Hi folks, Have a 2016 F3 Limited. I have read several places that there is a tender connector under the passenger seat. I used the "customer accessory" lead under there to get power to the GPS, but did not see a tender connection. I assume I am looking for a that standard tender connector...

    1st 600 miles service

Hmm. I am looking at the manual for my 2016 F3 limited right now and it states "1st inspection-3,000 miles", and it goes on to detail what they check on. my page 34 says, "after the break-in period, your vehicle should be inspected per the maintenance schedule. I wonder if the 600 mile...

Garmin 595LM Installation on F3 Ltd SS

Hi folks, Resurrecting this thread, please. I just ordered a Garmin 595L and the F3 swivel mount from Lamonster. Looking at this thread confuses me just a little. The OP attached to the customer accessory circuits via the "hanging" black/purple-white wires. But later in the thread someone...
