• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Unless one has extra farkles and lights, I wonder if using hi beams really puts an excessive load on the charging system.

I had a crampbuster (or a similar brand) for several years on another bike. Here's the only issue I see: Without the cramp buster, in a panic situation, you only have to open your fingers to release the throttle. With the cramp buster, you have to completely remove your hand to release the...

    Buzzing

It seems to be more rpm related. It is much less noticable in 4th gear than 5th. At its worse (5th gear, 76 mph, 5600 rpm, under load, up a grade), it physically buzzes (higher frequency vibration) the whole bike. I can live with it, but if a tensioner would cure it, or at least diminish it...

    Buzzing

Riding on the interstate today with the cruise control on at 76 mph (5600 rpm) my RTS had a significant buzz (vibration) anytime going up a grade. I slowed to 74 (5400 rpm) and the buzz was less. At 68 mph (5000 rpm) there was almost no buzz. Off the interstate in 4th gear, the buzz was there...

    Boots?

i bought a pair of the Cruiserworks boots a few years ago. I love them. The plain boot (I think it is called the Tour Boot) is discreet enough to wear anywhere. It is extremely comfortable and waterproof. The company has changed ownership since I bought mine, but looking at their web site the...

How difficult is the installation of the belt tensioner? Can a non-mechanic (me) do it with ordinary tools? Does the Spider need to be lifted? Thanks in advance for the help.

    Cell Phone

I have an IPhone and love it because everything syncs with my iPad, iMac, and MacBook. Lots of people love the droids. I think all are good, just depends on what other devices you have.

    Indiana Spyderlover shirts

I live in South Carolina now, but was born, raised, and educated in Indiana. I still think of it (and my hometown Delphi) as my real home. Even though my work took me away from Indiana, I would love to have an Indiana Spyder T-shirt. I hope you'll let a transplant buy one.

Dave, I can't begin to tell you how much I enjoy reading your posts. Your creativity and inventiveness are an inspiration to those of us who are sometimes too timid and overly cautious to tackle modifications. It took me three weeks after I received my Bajaron sway bar to work up the nerve to...

You might want the foamy pipe insulation around all the tubing as a protection for Teddy. If copper tubing is used, it would keep it from getting hot in the sun.
