• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Looking like the only "sure thing" with PPA wheels on my RT S2S might be the 155/60R15 option. As pointed out to me my Knizar, in addition to my washers shimming/flat profile screws, I also have Centramatics that push out the wheels a touch. Still waiting on word from PPA re: offset specs.

    I sent a note in to PPA last evening for that info Peter. Must be some difference in fender specs as Baja Ron has experienced with OEM wheels. It might boil down to trying out the Conti 155/60 tires. Max rim width for those tires are 5.5". We shall see....

    Yeah. The Storm would certainly be more effective, but they're HUGE. I likely would have gotten the black/black VPS plastics, but they would have been $140 with braces. Then I'd likely have remorse over not getting the carbon fiber guards. They would have been $300! I'll try my $21 guards first. :)

    Another good example. Kenda lists the 165/55R15 tire as having an overall diameter of 23" and section width of 7". For the 165/60R15 Vredestein Quatrac, Tire Rack lists an overall diameter of 22.8" and section width of 6.5". Taking these samples into account, I should have zero clearance issues...

    I understand this. Most of the time, you're at the mercy of manufacture info. Conti and Vredestein certainly won't share their data sheets. We just buy and take our chances :(
