• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I'm going a different route on my next set of front tires - trying these IOTA EVT (Standard's) instead!

Just received my second set of the Accelera tires for my OEM wheels. The current rubber will be five years old early next year, and I really like these tires. I just checked around, and these tires are now unavailable everywhere. Glad I went ahead and ordered them when I did.

Oop's! Look out BRP, Honda has a new 3-wheeler coming out!

But... It has four wheels! 😆 Does it have silver handlebars, or black handlebars? Clearly AI generated. The Honda Neowing concept was a cool 3 wheeler, and the one I'd buy.

    Lamont: Get Well My Friend

Lamont's latest post from FB: I was told I could ring the bell today. I’m in 100% remission. This was overwhelming good news. I’m still trying to process what that means but for sure God is not done with me yet. Thank you all for your support. I have to stay this way for two years to get back on...

I'm going a different route on my next set of front tires - trying these IOTA EVT (Standard's) instead!

I have about 10K miles on my $100 ($50x2) Achilles 165/55R15 tires, and they have been great. They took me to Sturgis/Beartooth/Pikes Peak and the Ozarks. Not knowing how long these 165/55R15 Accelera's will be around, I just ordered up the second pair to replace the soon to be five year old...

I'm going a different route on my next set of front tires - trying these IOTA EVT (Standard's) instead!

Being that my Achilles Economist 165/55R15 tires on my OEM wheels will be five years old next spring, I ordered a second set of the Accelera's to have mounted/balanced next spring. It appears that Simple Tire/Amazon (thru Simple Tire) are the only place that have these tires available. This...

I'm going a different route on my next set of front tires - trying these IOTA EVT (Standard's) instead!

Completed a 155 mile ride today on the new tires. Very happy with them!! They rode nice and smooth, with a very controlled ride. They performed excellent in cornering. This was on a cool day with temps in the low 50*s. My Achilles tires will be five years old next Spring. They will be replaced...

I'm going a different route on my next set of front tires - trying these IOTA EVT (Standard's) instead!

I understand the scepticism. We shall see. That said, don't know what more to say? 1.) The Iota EVT "Standard" is primarily spec'd for gas powered vehicles. 2.) The Accelera 165/55R15 has a max load rating of 853#. That's the exact same as past Achilles/Federal 165/55R15 auto tires. That's 55#...

I'm going a different route on my next set of front tires - trying these IOTA EVT (Standard's) instead!

Yup. As stated above, the UTQG rating of 320AA is indeed, on the softer compound side. If it were on the harder side, the instant torque that EV vehicles put to the ground would likely spin these tires every time on acceleration. That is likely why the tread wear warranty is only 35K for these...
