• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    RT 1330 - are your mpg's comparable to mine??

    On my 2014 RT I get about 37 avg on it and 32 pulling my trailer. On 650 Burgman only got 49 so 37 to 40 not bad with a 2x size engine.

    Trailer and wiring controller

    depends on the "controller" you pick. Some just have isolation between the trailer and bike so a short will not fry the bike wiring. Some have a computer in them and monitor the power to what is happening and the flashes the lights and that type the only wires connected to the bike physically is...

    The installed vents I have have 4 screws to pull out and clean. But after 15K miles I have not had to clean them out. Remember that on the 1330 fans when in city traffic reverse and clean out the bugs. A BRP unexpected feature.

    Any standard car horn will work with no mods or needing a relay. The autozone has a 118 DB horn for 15 buk here and it's LOUD.:yikes:

    Saddlebag lights?

    Like to see how the wiring was done on the bags. To me they would get jammed on the closing of the bags. Also what wire colors used to tap for them. I have seen ads for them but no pictures on how they were connected an how the wires are routed as to not get cut or pinched. :banghead:

    Help with tire pressure

    I use BRP's recommended thats on the bike and add about 4. Say 18 front, I put about 21,22. 19k on the front so far and rear, well went to Vee and have 10K and looking good. about 28 in rear.

    Kuryakyn ISO Grip & Lidlox

    I added the grips on my 2014. What they don't tell ya is that you have to save the OEM grips down from the riser they are to flat. That was not easy. The shift leaver we cut very slowly till it fit and could shift.
