• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Brake Caliper Issue Stuck

I hear/read ya...especially since this dealer is really needing to kick up things a notch being in between two really big cities off a major interstate...here in Columbia, MO between KC and St Louis off I-70. I had a great conversation with the svc mgr last week...he's new to this place and has...

    Brake Caliper Issue Stuck

@Mikey...that'd be awesome. I've always wanted to visit Maine and all over around those parts. Heck, 13 years of raising two kids...now both my kids are out of the house now, sell my place, tell my boss what I really think and then head north. Might even find me a good lady up there...Dreams...

    Brake Caliper Issue Stuck

From what I also read to tack onto ya'lls is to not use force...I'm nervous they are going to screw up something and not tell me and I find out the hard way...I'm trying to honestly give them the prayers to do what's right.

    Brake Caliper Issue Stuck

I so agree. H3LL, I've been wanting to quit my job and find something new. Maybe I should get official training, open a great shop and give great-honest-customer service along with work to-boot. I will be posting an update Monday...sigh.

    Brake Caliper Issue Stuck

Should a technician service person who changes out a rear tire on a Spyder know what to do if the caliper gets stuck? I took my bike up to the local BRP dealer to change my rear tire before they opened at 9am. 2.45pm I was told to come up there and pick up my bike because the tire change was...

Adjustable Windshield Buffetting / Bouncing Dash and GPS

UPDATE: I worked on the dash and filled in the cracks and made it stronger but flexible as well. The dash will either last forever or A LOT longer after cracking it with the dash mount idea. You cannot tell in a photo, but you can feel it with some cool smooth texture that has some flexibility...

    Steering column bolt screw size

@Raprider Apparently I waited too long...that is not available anymore. However, they do have another one, and I believe it will fit. I'll just keep what I have setup since the dash mount cracked the dash. Here's what I have now: I fixed the dash to last either forever or A LOT longer...

    Rear Fender Removal

Hey, I appreciate the final tip for my project. Now all of my factory reflectors have been replaced with LED's.

What size & brand of Rear tire for a 2015 RT?

I am not sure if I am in need for a replacement rear tire. Maybe someone can suggest or wait. Does the measuring with a coin in the tread work, or is that a myth? FYI, the front two look fine for now even though they are Kenda's. My 2014 ST-S SE5 has 4,560 miles on a Kenda MC 225/50R15 76H...

    Rear Fender Removal

Yep...whose were the culprits. The license plate light housing has those two small screws which go through the fender frame which attaches to the bike frame. I removed those two and the fender came right off. I finally was able to remove the rear fender, replace the both side frame reflectors...

    Rear Fender Removal

@SpyderAnn01 - Replacing the headlights with LED's was one of those other fun times. My hands couldn't fit without much more fun and less skin, so Mom didn't mind stopping over with her tiny hands to help so wouldn't have to take more tupperware off the bike. Successful...and of course, she...

    Rear Fender Removal

@Arnie R -- Your recollection is spot on...so far, this has been. It'll be worth it if I can complete my task like the other 'fun' add-on's and replacements (farkles). I see the two extra nuts. i'm thinking the bolts are inside the lighting system box...maybe. So, just to verify...if i take...

    Rear Fender Removal

@trikermutha...it's not problem at all. I really appreciate the feedback. I've been trying to remind myself to put "Concerning my 2014 ST-S SE5" at the beginning of my posts...and I forgot.

    Rear Fender Removal

I'm using the following two as references... 1. Pics from a seller on ebay selling a rear fender. I don't notice anything that i have not already removed. 2. Body parts for my bike. And the same, I'm sure I'm just missing something. 2a. Body parts #413 and #306 seem to be the only two...

    Rear Fender Removal

I forgot to add something. Sorry... While trying to remove the rear fender, I also removed the screw holding the reflector that is over the license plate bulb. I have already removed the top four screws/bolts and the two holding the license plate. @trikermutha I apologize, but I might be...

    Rear Fender Removal

I have a pair of Custom Dynamics LED Brightsides to replace the reflectors on either side of the bikes rear frame. The instructions indicate I am to run the wires up the frame and rear strut forward then up under the under-tail panel to gain access to the plate light panel which is back towards...

    Unknown Rocker Switch Terminal Connector

Hey all...I received a response from the dealer's shop tech's: "The wires in the terminal connector are power wires that you can hook up to. You may have to get into your fuse box and add a fuse in the slot that says accessory but it may already have a fuse in it. Unless it has been modified...

    Steering column bolt screw size

@Raprider I Like that one at Lamonster. Might be a bit more, but it's still almost $10 cheaper than the single stainless bolt. ...not only cheaper, but seems much more stable and out of the way. Thank you for the suggestion! :2thumbs: I'm going to order one this eve and post pics after I...

    Steering column bolt screw size

I finally tried to install it a few days ago, and the ball sits too far in the steering hole's inset where the Ram mount grip will not latch onto it. The threads work fine, but the bolt needs to be longer or something so the ball does not sit so far in the steering's inset. I just put the...

    Unknown Rocker Switch Terminal Connector

Ok, so my #1 is currently setup with a rocker switch for the parking break and #4 is setup for the for lights. Maybe I'm misunderstanding, so please forgive...but, can I use #2's terminal connector for USB charger instead of heated grips/seat and #3 (and add a terminal connector) for accent...
