• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Early To Bed for my Spyder this season...

Thanks all - I appreciate your kind words. I am talking to the doctor about the cold therapy, see what his thoughts are - YIRIDE, thank you for that suggestion - I hope the surgeon is on board, and I will order one. I am doing what they are calling "pre-hab" which is PT for before surgery. I'm...

Early To Bed for my Spyder this season...

 Well, in 2 weeks, I have to put the Spyder on the dollies and inthe corner of the garage, in August, with 2 or 3 months of riding left. Shoulder surgery at the end of the month will have me out for quite a while. I can't complain, we did a lot of fun stuff on the bike this year, touring...

What are the Side bag capacities please?

yep, the numbers are in the book. As far as usefulness, we had to learn how to use the "clamshell" side bags. Very different than the top loaders we were used to. A set of Spyderpop's bags was the game changer for us, kind of spendy, but made the side bags 100 times more useful than without.

Anyone else's Top-case blocking Tollway license plate photographs?

A little late to the party - FIRECAT - I live in Illinois, the cameras pick me up every time. Keep an eye out, and it is Illinois, so it could be a while before they show up. This is Illinois, nobody gets out for free. Check that, but don't get me started (or I'll get banned, or otherwise...

Deadwood 3Wheel Rally, 2023 - Getting ready to leave!

I was expecting more. We also spent $0.00 at the few vendors that were there. I am glad we went, and happy to have met a few folks that are now FB friends. We had 5 wonderful days of riding, all the must-do rides and then some. I spoke to the Can-Am rep there, he said they were hoping to get...

2021 RTL handle bar position and riding posture...need a fix?

There is a little bit of adjustment to tilt the handlebars. The retaining pin on the riser sits in a slot in the bars. Carefully loosen the 4 bolts (there is some kind of super Loc-Tite thread locker on those bolts!) and try different positions. I tilted mine a little forward after installing...

    2023 PA Tour

I think that is most of the pics with the bike in them, took about 10,000 more of us doing stuff. I'll post more if I get a chance. We are recovering from this trip, and getting ready for Deadwood in a coupleof weeks! Blessed with 2 bike trips this year.

Front storage USB port not charging quickly enough - any ideas?

Good comments from Flamewinger, try those suggestions, but - also, here is what I have tried with success in the past - I use my iPhone for directions and music, so it is always using battery. (I have it plugged into the glove box USB with a data blocker in-line), if I am at a place in my ride...

    Dragon or Rattler?

Just the opposite for us, we have ridden the Dragon, but will be out to ride the IMR during the 3 Wheeler Rally in Deadwood. I am one that rode the Dragon to say I did it, it was a few years ago, and the traffic wasn't horrible. The Cherahola Skyway was better for me as the driver - less...

Gas Gauge showing Full when tank is not - Why?

Two things.... Idaho, I hope you don't mind, but I laughed really hard at your post. The invisible bars on the guage. Gold. Thank you. Makes me glad I stopped in to read this one, I figured there would be a bunch of (good) info about using the trip meter and filling the tank full up each time...

Spyder enjoyment vs. experience of ownership

A few thoughts, probably no help, but here goes. I have owned bikes all my life, but never a HD, so my experience with dealers and service is somewhat like yours. For the last 15 years or so (riding Kawi's and 8 years on Victorys) service and dealers were always at least an hour away. So very...

    Memorial Day Weekend Ride

Well, two things. Weather was perfect, and I really sucked it up taking pictures this go-'round. By the time early Sat morning rolled around, we were down to 2 HD's, the HD trike, and our Spyder. We left at 0800-ish and took off on two-lanes for about 150 miles to the Nation Motorcycle Museum...
