• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP Frustrated at Pockets of Popularity

Back when I bought my BMW in 2008, I actually really wanted to purchase a Buell Ulysses. The H-D dealers which also sold Buells were so disinterested in selling Buells, that it turned me off and I found something else to buy. I agree with the comment that if he is ticked off at the dealer...

My trailer solution to carry Spyder

Very creative . I would also recommend cross-bracing those lift blocks. They could otherwise risk collapse with the twisting and shaking forces (and the weight which you mention) over a long trip at highway speed. I admire your ingenuity. :-)

    STILL RIDING ??

Had hoped to get ours into the dealer for service and Baja Ron anti-sway bar installation this weekend. But melting snow and road salt - and temps supposed to be in single digits or teens - made me delay that.

Praise the Lord and Thank BRP

Glad you lived to tell. Road debris and items falling from trucks and RVs are on my watch list when riding. Scary.

    Sad news from Michigan...

I never met him but, from the stories told here by those that did, he sounds like someone that I would enjoy riding with. My condolences to his family and friends.

    Interesting departure from BRP..

People in leadership leave companies every day for numerous reasons. Positive and negative. Are you inferring you know the back story? If so... do tell. We all love a good drama in the long nights of January. :-)

    Progressive Insurance

All of our bikes are on Progressive. Saved a lot of money compared to Foremost for the same level of coverage. I had them for only one month when I hit deer with my BMW... and they were great to deal with on the repairs. My rates have been reduced each year since too.

    Am I wrong on this?

I once came out of a store to find a woman about to put her small son on my Suzuki. I guess she saw me with my motorcycle jacket on and walking over- and stopped. Probably saw the po'd look on my face and said, 'sorry I didn't know you were coming out...' So I guess if I hadn't come out it...

will someone put up some positive stories about the spyder

My wife never would have gone out and earned her motorcycle license -and ride with me - if not for the Spyder. It is an innovative machine that brings a smile to her face whenever she rides. Hence my desire to rectify the fuel smell.... she wants to keep riding for years to come.

    NHTSA investigation update

I just want to ensure our ride is safe. First... want to make sure it does not start on fire while my wife is riding. Secondly, I don't want it to burn down my house ...or the neighbor's. I have no desire for BRP to go out of business.... nor will I be an apologist for them if there is an...

    Thinking of Going Heated Gear

My wife has had Gerbings gloves and a jacket for years. Only thing that keeps her riding below 70 degrees!! LOL... She bought me one for Christmas a few years back too. I was reluctant to use it. I ride to 40 degrees with just fleece under my riding jacket.... and, growing up in Buffalo, did...
