• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wow... and we landed on the Moon?!?!?!:roflblack: Nothing new here... I've worked in the Supermarket business for years and I can tell you the horror stories behind the meat department that would make you a vegetarian quicker. However, I am still a meatertarian... as long as it is cooked...

Would you Buy 2013 RT (new)?

I've had my 2013 since February of that year and I've had the same heat issues as any other Spyder. Block off plate, wrapped headers and removed the Catalytic converter. 17K miles and counting... no issues and I love it! As DJFaninTN said, you are sitting on top of the engine so some heat will...

    THE RATTLER Route 209

We did the Rattler last year during the Owner's Event, which is not far from Maggie Valley. Can't say which info is correct, but I can tell you it is more exciting than the Dragon itself.

Pitbull Powersports Adjustable side wind deflectors! I have a great sale goin on!!

Yes. Just remove the 2 screws that hold the original deflectors (under the mirrors)and place the new adjustable ones in it. Mirrors don't need to be removed at all. Even a caveman can do it!

    Spyder Spy Photos-Lamonster take

Nicely put, Lamont. I am going to say this to the "haters" out there: if you are just by looking at those pictures (or just by looking at anything first glance), you are making poor a judgment call, and that speaks a lot about a person's level of intelligence. Look at the picture in...

Too Funny- Spyder 5 Mickey Fisher

Reviving this thread because I just got a new "question".... "Is that thing a Harley?" (And this was a guy... co-worker...) The closest funny but non-sarcastic answer that came out from me was "I don't think Harley Davidson would put a lot of plastic in their units... so no!"

    Help 2010 RT

You do not need a battery to open the seat. If the key is turning but not unlocking the seat, push down on the right side, front area of the seat where it latches. Usually it gets stuck after not being opened for a while and needs a push to unlatch.

Longest your spyder has been in the shop?

3 weeks in the shop for clutch rebuild (2010 RT in 2011). Dealer had to wait for BRP approval because Spyder only had 3400 at the time, then it took a whole week just to get parts. No more than 2 days here and there with the 2013 and all warranty (Service Bulletins and a bad engine kill...

    Laser Alignment question

Like Bob said. If anything, it should make it better since a few 2014 RT's (and previous years as well) have had bad tires. I saw an 2013 ST with so many weights on the tires, it must have weighed a full pound on both sides, and the owner complained of a wobbly ride. She had another dealer...
