• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What's Needed in a Tool Bag for a Spyder??

Although the tool kit includes your necessary, I always carry more torx bits (30 is your most common, but 25 and 20's are used in some parts), nut and allen wrenches ranging the 8 to 16 mm sizes, and plenty of zip ties.

    spyderpops missing belt guard

One of his first products. Many of them installed on all models. Installed 3 just this weekend. A little harder on the RS/ST because of the fender support, but an 15-20 minute install process.

    RT & 622 Trailer Question

Make sure you pack you heavy items around the axle (middle of the trailer) and lighter items on the ends. You should be good give or take a few pounds.

    2,273.5 Miles Later

Glad to see you had a great trip! So how did you deal with the trailers (i.e. how did you find out and what did you do with them in the meantime)?

I think my battery is dying.....

Battery is a wear and tear item, so you can buy it almost anywhere. If you can remove the panels to access the battery, you can take the old one to a battery or motorcycle store and get a new one with the right dimensions and specs.

    Vibration on the 2013 St

I installed Barbie's swaybar on Saturday and she asked me about the tires. When I looked, both tires where overloaded with weights, one tire even had weights in the edge of the inside rim (should have taken pictures). I am no tire expert, but I told her that someone was either in training or...

    Excessive heat in trunk

I had a chocolate bar in the trunk. It melted, but the outside temps were in the high 90's. In the trunk, like any car, it will get warmer since there is no cooling.

    2014 Rebates?

It will be the end of the riding season before we see the 2014's having big rebates. No reason to have rebates on them at this time of year since people are buying 2014's at a good rate. The 2014 rebates will happen when BRP starts announcing the new 2015 lineup so the dealers will need to...

    Laser Alignment Questions....

Run! Seriously... RUN!:yikes: 3 hours is too much. They must not be using the Rolo System that we use, so they are just using the obsolete BRP way. Our alignments are usually done in an hour. Find out who is near you: http://www.spydercomfort.com/dealers.htm

A FEW LED'S TO BRIGHTEN and be SEEN A LITTLE MORE!

Unless you are LEO, did you check with your local/state laws about having blue lights? Especially in the front, that might give you a reason to get ticketed in a lot of places for impersonating an LEO!:lecturef_smilie: Other than that... Looks good!

    hemi links

Nope. The alignment is done by the tie rods which has nothing to do with the sway bar. It doesn't matter on which order you do the alignment or the sway bar install, as long as you have done both.

SM or SE? What and why did you choose?

Since both my car and truck are automatics... my RT is my sportster! So I want to have control (like Ann says). I was going for a SE5 but between the price difference and learning to ride manual bikes, I felt it was the better choice! My wife feels the same way on her RS-S. She loves it!
