• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone interested in renting out their RT near Cincinnati?

Good luck with that. Renting out ones Spyder is not very popular here on Spyderlovers. I know for me; I would never even consider it. I'm sure others will chime in and let you know their thoughts. With a crashed 2012, you'd be far better off taking the insurance money and buying a newer model.

Trying to decide between this 2019 RT Ltd or a 2024 year/model - advice?

If you're looking at a '19, you're far better off bumping it up at least one year and get a '20 or newer. The 2020 RT was totally redesigned and it's a much more comfortable riding position. It's the same engine and transmission as the '19, there's just more creature comforts. You won't be sorry.

Any problems connecting GPS direct to battery?

Just know that hooking up to your "customer accessory circuit" is far easier and faster than an oil change. It's so easy a caveman can do it.

New 2023 F3-S solo, but has foot pegs - what options to make it 2-up?

According to BRP, the F3, F3S and F3T are designed for one-up riding. You can outfit them for two-up, but there's a lot you need to do.

How do I put my RT Ltd into Neutral and shut off parking brake alarm?

Whenever my Spyder is parked in my garage, it's in neutral and the parking brake is always off. My key stays with it, too. I also use a plastic wheel chock to be safe. I don't think twice about the 20 seconds of beeping.

Chrome or Blacked-out - am I the only one who likes Chrome??

I'm a chrome guy, too. I have the "Dark" 2020 RTL and added a little. When I bought mine, I didn't like the chrome wheels, so I just improvised.

Anyone ever painted an RT-622? Good results? What paint/prep etc?

My current Spyder is a 2020 RT Limited that I bought in March of 2020. My three previous Spyders were all pearl white as was my RT622 trailer. As soon as a bought my 2020 I took my trailer to a body shop and had it painted to match my chalk Spyder. They computer matched my paint. I think it...

Bushtec Turbo II vs RT-622 Maintenance

I've been pulling an RT-622 trailer for 10 years and have at least 50,000 miles towing them. All I've ever done is repack the wheel bearings. Many people on here say they repack them yearly. Not me. I think I've done it once. I replace the tires as necessary. On my wife's first 622...

Anyone know the length of a '21 RT-L OEM Seat Strut?

I just replaced mine on my 2020 RT Limited with a 7 1/2" strut. It works just fine. It was sold in a 2-pack so I have an extra one and you're more than welcome to have it. Send me a PM with your information and I'll send it to you.

What do you do to Secure your RT 622 At Hotels?

I use a vinyl covered cable and wrap it through one wheel and around my trailer tongue and lock it. This way it can't be rolled away. That and a hitch lock keeps honest people honest. That's about all you can do.
