• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone with a new a/mkt shock Extended the self-leveling arm?

Making an adjustable dog bone is a great idea, but if you have put an aftermarket shock that has built for your riding style and weight, then you can leave your bag pretty much empty, because the shock is doing all the work now. The air bag would be used like an overload when your hauling extra...

2023 Ryker with a Final Drive Leak - what could be venting oil? Any common leak points?

Have you cleaned the final drive well and let it set and still can't tell where it's coming from? Maybe block it up and take the tire off, that will give you a better idea of where it's coming from! I am betting a seal!

Did an upgrade Sway Bar improve your handling? Which one? And what about Shocks?

I can tell you from past experience that the sway bar and shocks will play a big role in what you are dealing with; while your tires and tire pressures, wheel alignment, they all will come into play also. You need more seat time to make the transition from two-wheels to three, then start to make...

Recommend any Rear shock replacements other than the $$$ Elka's??

At the end of the day most people don't need all of the button and knobs and just want to set it and forget it! The shock and air bag in the rear work well when they work, crap when they don't, for what you spent for the bike you should have got more in my eyes. I say it doesn't make any...

Recommend any Rear shock replacements other than the $$$ Elka's??

Trust me, if you bite the bullet, you will not be disappointed in any way! I want to believe BRP has maybe seen the light after putting some great rebuildable shocks on their Canyon, and Ryker, maybe they will start doing it to the rest of the line up! The bag and shock combo are great when it's...

I bit the bullet and upgraded my 2023 Spyder RTL front suspension... Color me happy!

If you ever get a chance to drive the same bike with the mod's, give it a try, you may understand what we are all talking about. If you are totally satisfied with your ride, then it's good for you, that's great to hear!!! :cool:Enjoy!!!

What do you think of these Ramps for loading a Spyder onto an aluminum utility trailer?

You can, I haven't for my Spyder; but I have for my four-wheeler in the past!

    Finally picked up my Canyon

Once you get a few miles on that thing and learn how to drive it you will love it!! It is a big jump from one to the other, shifting and finding the right shift points is a big thing; biggest thing is not to short shift it, make sure that you get it in that 3000-3400 rpm range and it will slip...

Deer collision - safer on a Spyder? Thoughts? Or first-hand accounts?

I have not hit one with my Spyder and hope I don't, but if I had my choice, I would pick the Spyder! I have a dear friend who hit a little spike buck with his caffa style BMW, killed the deer, kept the bike upright and still on the road, unhurt at all!! Then I have a fiend who hit a moose with a...

2016 RTS SE6 Rattling sound on start-up only - any suggestions?

Not to make this another oil thread, but that would be a great idea, I like the way Amsoil works in my equipment! Quiet, smoother shifting, ect. I don't think he knows where this noise is coming from, and that has to be the first thing he does, work out if it is coming from the valve train or...

Can’t get radio to work - any ideas?

You have to take your side panels off, I can't remember which side but it's close to the side bags as I recall.

Anyone tried Rotating their front directional tires? Worth it?

Sometimes you just have to cut the cord and walk away! I would say you got the best of them!

2016 RTS SE6 Rattling sound on start-up only - any suggestions?

You can add all the air you want, but the bike will push it out if it's too much for what it's been set at for ride height! That's how that auto system works, it is set up to hold a certain ride height when you're in gear and on the bike, if someone gets on with you and makes the bike go down it...

Brake squeak at low speed - any quick fixes?

Giving them a GOOD cleaning may help; there is also a product you can get at most auto supply stores that you put a" light" film on the back side of your pads so that you don't have metal to metal contact!

How many of your Spouse's ride their own machines?

You still have to keep your head on a swivel, they still look straight through you.

What would cause the Brake linkage bolt to fall out?! Any insights?

BRP puts Loctite on everything, so I would say it was taken out and not replaced right.

Left Speaker cover needed - any ideas on where to get one? 2013 ST + USB Issues?

Do a google search, Ebay, bike bone yards there are a few out there! As far as the USB, start tracing the wire on the back side, it's hooked to a fuse somewhere! Good Luck! That left cover you're talking about, is that on the dash, or the rear? I tried to find a parts number for it online, but...

Found these after removing LH deflector panel - anyone know how/where these are placed?

That's my story and I would stick with it! They say if you don't have spare parts something went wrong!!!
