• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

For the MBAs on the forum

I have an MBA. But I'm so glad that I'm retired and I don't have to say things like “By naming two co-leads for the group, the synergies will be amplified as they focus together on the main priorities.” ever again!

    Review: Ryker info

Thanks, Joe. Please explain "Rally Mode will not engage if passenger foot pegs are down or will disengage if passenger pegs are put down once in Rally Mode" I don't know what "foot pegs down" means.

    Escargot

I'm getting to this thread late, but there's much to respond to. I had an opportunity to try escargot when I was 17 and in France. But I turned up my nose and didn't I still regret it. I've never had the opportunity since, but when I do, I'll certainly try it. My general take (stereotype)...

    My new Ski adventure days 5, 6, & 7

My skiing skill never included bumps so much. But I liked an intermediate slope where I could go really fast. (Kinda like how I ryde my Spyder.) I'm afraid if I tried to ski now, I'd forever be on the bunny slopes!

    Alaskan Earthquake...

I'm glad you are able to check in with us. I'd heard your former governor say they were Ok but their house wasn't. I remembered you were even closer to Anchorage and was worried about you and yours. So you have the Jamison on hand, but how is your stock of other provisions? It may...

    New life adventure ?

Good for you, Mike! I haven't skied in many years. I'm not sure my knees could handle it now.

    Anyone Ever Consider a Scooter?

I once had a Burgman 400. I'd have gone for the 650 except my legs are too short. If anyone is concerned about what kind of riding you can do on a maxi-scooter, check out this blog. This guy rode from Vietnam, across Siberia and Scandinavia to Italy. Start reading in April 2008...

    Job Interview Salary Question

Of course it's important to learn about the pay, benefits, etc., but not in the beginning of an interview. I'm with Bob on this one. Your situation at this point is to convince the employer that you're the best person they could hire for the job. After they know that, then you can negotiate...

Our New RV Is Being Built...

Even with outstanding roadside assistance, you might want to have a spare with you. If you're broken down by the roadside you have to wait for the assistance to show up, and then maybe wait for them to make another trip back to you with the correct parts. If you have a spare on hand, you'll be...

    Job Interview Salary Question

This is good logic. Thanks. As to fear of rejection and/or insecurity, I think it's key to not show it when you're in an interview. There's always a possibility of rejection. After all the company is probably interviewing multiple people for one position. So some will necessarily be...

    Kudos to BRP

The dealer should have known how that works. I'm glad it worked out for you.

    visiting a dealership this week

I'm not sure the Ryker would be the way to go without modification. I'm 5'3" and sat on one. The handlebars wouldn't come back far enough and I had trouble reaching the shift lever with my left foot. I'd recommend the F3 models with short-reach bars plus risers.

    This may upset you?

I've had several conversations about this with my optician friends. He only buys frames from companies that are independent of the big companies that are buying up all the brands. He has some expensive and very high-style ones, but also some stylish and moderately priced ones. I don't shop...
