• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wiring the Chin LED light - is the Black wire Earth, White Live?

G'day, On my light unit, I took an uneducated guess and found that indeed white was positive and black negative. So as not to risk interfering with the can-bus system I ran the wiring back to the keyed power supply under the R/H front side panel. I have a volt meter and my sat-nav wired...

Wiring the Chin LED light - is the Black wire Earth, White Live?

Thanks for the replies. I was under the impression that LEDs would be damaged if connected backwards, that is why I asked. As a lot of the lights on the bikes as standard on the US bikes are illegal here in Europe CanAm do not include the wiring onto the bikes.

Wiring the Chin LED light - is the Black wire Earth, White Live?

Just purchased a chin LED light for my S2S even though it is not strictly legal here in the UK. The short piece of wiring has a length of black and a length of white with waterproof plug. Is it safe to assume that the black wire is earth and white live. I know where to wire connect it safely...

Blank spot in 2021 S2S switch panel - what switch fits?

On my 2021 Sea to Sky I want to put a switch in the dummy position on the switch panel. Could someone please tell me the designation for that size switch? I purchased one online that looked OK, but it was the right width but too short. Thanks

Any discussion/opinions on extra Upright Grips on handlebar ends?

Many thanks to all who replied with serious and helpful comments. I believe that my fading memory did recall the handlebar risers as shown by CopperSpyder. I do have a set of Barkbusters stowed away somewhere and I will dig them out now that my riding is over for this year. Thanks again, Alan.

Any discussion/opinions on extra Upright Grips on handlebar ends?

No Lee, I have Helibars on my bike already. What I think I remember were bars with grips fitted which replaced the bar end weights, going straight up. I may have seen them on the GoldWing site which I was on before I got a Spyder.

Any discussion/opinions on extra Upright Grips on handlebar ends?

It may be a false memory but I seem to recall some posts about extra vertical grips on the end of the handlebars on some Spyders. I have problems with wrists and hands and think this sort of modification would be helpful to me, only when in cruise control type situations of course. Anyone recall...

Need to move brake from RHS to LHS - can you help?

Here in the UK there is a charity called NABDA, National Association for Bikers with Disabilities. They help out with modifying bikes and trikes for people with problems like yours, amputees and even wheel chair users at no cost. Maybe there is something similar in the USA. Good luck.

Is there any way to keep the windshield up instead of raising it each ride?

BamaJon, Yes you are correct. whether the screen is up or down when you switch the ignition off, that is where it will return to. So hold the screen switch wherever you want it.

Is there any way to keep the windshield up instead of raising it each ride?

On my 21 S2S you have to raise the windshield while the bike is running then hold the switch in the "up" position while switching the ignition off. Whenever you switch the ignition off the screen will then return to the up position even if you have lowered it for some reason.

Should there be a bolt thru these Empty holes?

I recently replaced the left side side box opening cable on my 2021 S2S. There was definitely a bolt in that position on my bike. If I remember it was a 6mmx20mm or 25mm bolt with a largish washer top and bottom with nyloc nut. It locates the large black side panel, a metal bracket on the frame...

    Harley Trims Motorcycle Shipments

Part of the Harley problem may be that the UK and the EU have banned chrome on everything. Apparently you cannot even privately import a small part for your bike if it has chrome plating.

Are Tire 'Flat Stoppers' necessary for winter storage??

If you are concerned about the tyres developing flat spots, why not leave it up on a lift. I leave my S2S up on my Big Blue during the winter, but for other reasons.

Brake fluid in Reservoir & above the seal - anyone else seen this?

From my basics knowledge of hydraulics and vehicle brake systems, brake fluid does not move around the system. It is simply a medium for transferring pressure from the master cylinder to the wheel cylinders. The fluid does travel in the pipes very slightly to move the pistons in the brakes but...

How do I access/remove the rear saddlebag cables to lube them? '21 RTL

I believe there was a recall on early 2021 models for the fitting of stainless cables to the saddlebags. Modern cables should not be lubricated as it affects the lining material causing sticking.

Are there any Universal Bar-end weights to fit a Sea to Sky?

As someone in the UK who has spent a fortune on bling for my S2S, I can tell you that postage and tax can double the USA prices to get an item into my sticky hands. Alan.

    Iconic aeroplanes!

Spitfire I live in the UK and last year did a tour on my S2S of south east England. As I was passing close to Biggin Hill, a WW2 fighter base, I decided to drop in to take a look around the hangers of the Biggin Hill Heritage Factory. To cut a long story short, I managed to get a 45min flight...

    Review: EazyRider BigBlue Spyder Jack

I have had my Big Blue Lift for about 15 years now. Initially purchased for my 1800 Gold Wing, it has been used by several friends for their solos once they have purchased the necessary adaptors. I know that a cat delete is not doable unless you lift the bike as high as you want, then place car...

2021 RT rear hand grips turned brown - any solutions?

Hey Little Blue, Never had anyone on the back of the bike and here in the UK excess sun is not an issue either.
