• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Sea to Sky wiring - does the horn circuit have a relay?

Hi, Can anyone with a wiring diagram for this model tell me if the horn circuit has a relay installed, or whether I need to fit one to an air horn I intend to fit. Thanks, Alan.

Stripped Threaded Push Pins in Side Storage compartments????

I believe part of the problem with these screws is that they require JIS screwdrivers to unscrew. I encountered this while doing a similar job on my S2S. JIS drivers will work on Phillips screws but not the other way round. Alan

    rider triangle for RT

I had a 2016 RTLtd from new and found the riding position to be great. I then purchased a new Sea to Sky sight unseen, only to find I could not physically get on. I am 76 and a bit limited in leg movement, but to ride my old bike into the showroom and then not be able to ride the new one out was...

Left side Trim by the mirrors with fitting issues!! Any ideas on a fix??

This looks like one I saw in the dealers when I picked up my S2S. In pic.4, if you look just above the gap in the trim piece, there is a tab on the black piece that goes over the top of the dash that has not been fitted properly. Check against the other side or another 2020/21. It may be...

S2S radio - can I lock it onto FM?

The performance of the radio on my S2S is far superior to the one on my 2016RT apart from one thing. Here in the UK I only listen to programmes on FM, but every time I switch the ignition on I have to reset the toggle knob to reselect FM. Is there any way I can lock the settings on to FM as I...

Is this too much Air Bag Pressure?

On my S2S I put a flexible extension on the under seat valve. After the first couple of rides I checked the pressure and it was 25psi every time. I weigh 230lb and I am happy with the ride. Alan.

S2S Brake pedal doesn't have pivot down - is it no longer necessary??

Thanks to both for the reply. Looks like I was given duff information by the dealer. When I rode my 2016 to the dealer to pick up the S2S we found that I could not get on the S2S. A combination of lower floorboards, thicker seat and my disabilities made mounting impossible. We raised the...

S2S Brake pedal doesn't have pivot down - is it no longer necessary??

When I purchased my 2016 RT, it was pointed out to me that there was a safety feature, whereby if one of the brake circuits failed, the footboard would pivot down automatically to allow sufficient pedal travel. I have now got a S2S and it does not have this feature. Has there been something else...

What's the best Can Am Spyder lift?

My vote goes to the Big Blue bike lift. I had mine initially for my Gold Wing and then got the adaptor parts for the Spyder. It does take up a bit of space but earns its keep when needed and is very safe to use. Alan.

Installing 2020/2021 Spyder RTL backrest from Can-Am?

Something I did to mine may help. I placed a loop of strong material, 1in webbing in my case, around the wire retainer. It makes it so much easier to remove at any time. Alan

2020+ Spyder Mirror vibrations - fixed by dealer! Other options too!

Checked the mirrors on my 2021 S2S and they are different to the older design. The lower ball fittings have a taper on the neck on the back end where they sit against the wires, also they now sit into a moulded receiver at the ball side locating them tighter until the wires give that is. This...

    2021 RT rear wheel removal.

Has anyone yet had to remove the rear wheel from a 2021 RT. It looks as if the extended rear mudguard/flap has to be removed. Is that correct and if so is it easy to remove and replace. I have removed the rear wheel from my last 2016 RT several times so I know the procedure re. belt alignment...

    Brake pad replacement

Blueknight, do you do most of your miles on a toy hauler? On my 2016RT the original pads were done at about 8000m and the replacement EBC,s were totally shot after 12000m. I am now 75 and go through brakes quite regularly. Alan.

    RT Upgrade

I picked up my new Sea2Sky a couple of days ago. I am 5ft6 and 220lb so asked them to fit the short reach bars and found it very difficult to get on and off the bike as I don't seem to bend enough in the right places. So, try before you buy, wearing your bulkiest riding gear.

Got a new Sea2Sky - and now have a few questions?

Collected my Sea2Sky yesterday and had a nice 4 hour ride home. I have a few questions for those cleverer owners. 1. When in cruise control, where are the icons to show it is "on" and "activated" on the dash. I could not see them. 2. Is the rear suspension adjustable like my 2016. 3. What...

    No power to aux light

I have a new Sea2Sky on order. Here in the UK they come not fitted with the auxiliary, signature or trunk tail/stop lights fitted, supposedly illegal here. I hope when it arrives the wires to these locations are fitted and live so that I came fit alternatives such as yours. I will keep an eye on...

    Rear tire air valve

I have wondered if it would be possible to fit a valve into the side of one of the spokes, pointing directly outward. This is done on BMW machines and would make inflation much easier.

Classic TT onboard - Danny Webb (Team Classic Suzuki - RG500)

Living in the UK, I have been to the Manx GP a few times myself as a spectator only, on my G.W.1800. One of my best memories of riding there on a normal open road day, don't forget we drive on the left, was taking Kate's Cottage, a downhill left hander much too fast. As the road was clear I let...
