• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    OMG!!! Front Tires!!!

I got almost 20,000 on my first set of front tires. Not bad considering how I ride! My problem is with the rears. I only got 9,000 out my first two rear tires. Just put a 4 ply on the rear. Hoping to get at least 20,000 out of this one but I accelerate very hard so we'll see. Bill

What do YOU want to tell BRP at the Owner's Event?

My dealer tells me they need to get an overnight order in by noon in order to get the part the next day. That needs improvement. Also, fix the heat issue. Make it blue tooth capable. 4-ply tires. Better batteries. All in all though it's a great ride. Kudos to BRP for thinking outside of the...

Silly Question ~ How many of you have gotten a ticket?

My story is kinda funny. My brother warned me about speeding in Daytona during Bike Week but what do I go and do? Hadn't even checked into my hotel yet - was just getting into town and got grabbed on Atlantic Avenue 47 in a 35. Paid a lawyer $150 to have it expunged but still had to pay the...

Went for a spur of the moment ryde today

Hey Chad. Lean back as far as possible on the twisties and lean out. Sometimes it's hard to hang on that way but it's an absolute blast! Twisties with the spouse/significant other/girlfriend on the back never work out well though. I end up worrying more about a kidney punch than the Spyder's...

    Interstate Driving

I feel very fortunate. My 2011 RT handled great right out of the crate - hey that rhymes. I run 20 psi in the front tires and that has worked well for me. Good luck. And congratulations on your new Spyder! If you end up loving it half as much as I do mine you'll be very happy! Bill

    Battery question

I read that you need 4.000 RPM's to fully charge the battery. When I ride it's always at least 20 minutes with RPM's up in the 4,000 to 5,000 range.

    Battery question

Ok it's time to ask the experts. I'm in Southwest Florida so my bike doesn't usually sit for more than a day or two at a time without being ridden but when it does sit for three or four days the battery is well let's say less than peppy. I actually had to put the tender on it today to get it...
