• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Wet front Trunk on my new 2014

    My frunk leaks, none of the other luggage on the Spyder leaks. The bags have leaked on every motorcycle I ever owned. Most of them I'd put a little hole in the bottom to let the water drain. Afraid to do this to the frunk, because I'm not sure what's under it. I'm going to put a new gasket...

    Lifting/Replacing battery in 2018 RTL

    You can easily fashion a "strap" for the new battery with some duct tape, avoiding terminals. I had a hell of time trying to remove a battery from my Spyder. Maybe my hands just aren't strong enough. Admittedly, I removed used, dead or dying batteries by the terminals for years. Didn't worry...

    Scuba My brother does scuba diving, and he suggested using the stuff they use to keep their face-masks clear. It comes in a little bottle and you use a drop or two. I haven't used it yet, because that would involve remembering it and using it. ~Sandee~
