• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What's your opinion of your F3 Cannonball Seat?

I found a very good deal on eBay which I couldn't pass up, so I've been riding with the cannonball for about 3 months now. I purchased the seat mostly for my wife's comfort as the stock seat has virtually no padding for passenger comfort. I didn't notice any loss of legroom so when I saw this...

    Why the dislike?

Easy fix: Move to Hawaii. We're all just bruddahs here. 2 wheels, 3 wheels, scooters, whatevas. It no mattah. The Aloha Spirit lives and we all have a mutual respect for one another. Lucky we live Hawaii!

So much for Black Friday Can-Am Deals

I've been looking at the Cruise Jacket for some time now so the sale was perfect timing for me. It just shipped out yesterday. I've had good luck, so far, with Shopatron. They even refunded me 40+ bucks for shipping due to the shipper not adding dimensions of the box when they created the...

Anyone seen this around your area yet?

F3's have an instant start feature. Turn on the key, hit the mode switch and start.

    F3 cover..

I have the half cover. It has zippered expansion pockets that allow fitment over the Blue Ridge and full backrest. It's a nice fitting cover and easy to install. For me, it was money well spent as I use it every day to help protect my F3 from the harsh sun of Hawaii and also the occasional...

    F3 died out

Well, I think I can make the connection. It's just a guess but I can feel a couple of things happening while my F3 is upshifting. The engine seems to cut out for a few milliseconds, while the clutch disengages and the upshift takes place. Perhaps the clutch doesn't even disengage. The engine...

    Title FYI

What ever you do, don't purchase a vehicle with the intent to ship out of state and then change your mind later. I was actually accused by the dealer I purchased from of trying to commit fraud when all I wanted to do was pay the states taxes so I could obtain a title. Long and painful story.

    back then

From 1979 my ~1972 Suzuki GT550. I almost lost my life more than once on that bike. The photo was taken after I crashed and rebuilt it. As luck would have it, 1. I survived and 2. when I bought the bike, it came with another bike, less engine/trans so it was only a matter of swapping out parts...

    Schuberth M1 Helmet

I have always had this problem with Shoei helmets. My head is more oval shaped and so I get a mean headache from the pressure point at my forehead. My solution, which has worked on every Shoei helmet I've owned, is to take a large diameter socket or just use my fingers to crush the EPS foam...

A most entertaining Sunday drive to Waimea Canyon

Great weather yesterday so I took the F3 for a spin up to Waimea Canyon for a little wind therapy. A most entertaining ride to say the least. Lots of smiles, people giving me the thumbs up, Shaka signs and one twisting throttle gesture for me to rev the engine. (sorry to disappoint, SE6) What...

    Calling all Spyder owners

I can't say I'm a first time rider since I've been riding 2 wheels since I was 16, now 53. I'd say my learning curve for the Spyder was probably about 50 miles until I felt totally at ease with it. I hadn't ridden 2 wheels in almost 20 years prior to the Spyder which was probably a plus since I...
