• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is an ISCI Hand Brake worth it? The jury is out on this one!

Well luckily the bleeders on the kit are "speed bleeders" and you can easily do it by yourself!

Is an ISCI Hand Brake worth it? The jury is out on this one!

Is it worth it? The jury is out on this one! I waited over 2 months for it to come from ISCI. Parts quality is good; Mounting Instructions, Not so much! It looks like a very good build quality, though the Hand brake lever/reservoir is a Drag Specialties 0610-2202. I got this for the wife because...

What are your thoughts on Magic Mirrors or Magnetic Mirror mounts for a 2016 RT Limited?

Put them on my '16 RT. The dealer says they keep 100's of the mirror clips in stock because the techs are always braking them....

My first impressions of the 2023 Spyder RTL

I'm an Instructor and took a ride a few weeks ago with some friends on sportbikes... They were taking some of the mountain corners over twice the posted speed and I was staying with them and even passed them a few times. When we stopped for lunch, a couple of them said they had never seen...

What year or years of RT Limited Editions had the most problems or recalls? Any issues with 2015's?

Just bought a '16 a few months ago... with only 900 miles on it. The first thing I did was change the original tires... date stamp 1915!!! So far, it's been perfect.

What's YOUR Number One Favorite, Model & Year, of Spyder you'd own given the chance?

Both... I give any manufacturer a couple years to iron out the bugs of a new model. I'm a BMW owner as well! I just don't like the body style/ergo's of the 20+ models. Don't like the exposed engine and ergo's of the F3 models either.

What's YOUR Number One Favorite, Model & Year, of Spyder you'd own given the chance?

    '16 - '19 RT... don't prefer the '20+ RT or any F3

Friend looking into Spyders, either a 2016 RT or a 2019 RTL with pretty close mileage & price - any advice/comments/concerns?

I just purchased a '16 RT-L with only 945 miles on it. I was scared it had been sitting too long, but the dealer had the service records and told me it had been stored in a temp controlled garage. The first thing I did was put new tires on it since the date code was '15. So far, it's been perfect!

    Riding Gear Poll

Do People Get Thrown Off of Spyders?

Talk to MSF When you are Endorsed in WA State for 3-Wheels, that also includes Trikes and Side-cars... Just think of all the fatalities of folks that have never ridden a motorcycle and then buy a Trike or Side-car. When they make a corner too fast and one wheel comes up (over ~15mph), you then...

Do People Get Thrown Off of Spyders?

I still ride my 2 wheels. When I get off the bike and hop on the Spyder, it takes a few miles for me to acclimate myself with the differences!

Do People Get Thrown Off of Spyders?

As a 3-wheel Instructor, there have been 2 deaths during classes on Rykers here in WA State. There have been other fatalities in other states during classes. That's why Insurance Premiums for 3-wheel classes have gone through the roof. The average age of students in our classes are around 62...

What is the Correct Garmin for my '16 RT Ltd?

Found a NOS Garmin Zumo 660 LM. Fits perfectly in the OEM cradle. Connected it to the computer, uploaded all the updates, paired it to my phone, and I couldn't be happier... Anyone need a "new" Zumo 590 LM??

What is the Correct Garmin for my '16 RT Ltd?

Yes, I want to keep the mount that came on the rig. It is hard-wired, so unless you can adapt something like my BMW GS, I'll stick with what was supposed to be placed there. So does the base plate and mount come apart? Looks to me like it's all one piece...

What is the Correct Garmin for my '16 RT Ltd?

I've already searched the Forums and at my wits end. Bought a '16 RT Limited with only 1200 miles. One owner kept it in a temp. controlled garage. I've already replaced the 10yo tires and wanted to use the installed Garmin mount. Purchased a NOS Can-am Garmin 590LM, but the mounting tabs are...
