• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Instrument lighting mode

Covering the light sensor I am attaching a picture i did this afternoon, not the greatest workmanship but a smooth rounded and smaller piece of electrical tape in the right spot will probably do the trick. By the way i have a 2013 RT

    Storage question

Thanks for the info Thank you for the information, on the trailer storage stand, and to just add a little more air to the tires. I will just leave it the way it is in the garage, i have plenty of room, and a fitted sheet works good for a cheap dust cover.

    Storage question

I take my Spyder out every week, but my trailer doesn't leave the garage for months. Should it be stored with blocks under the frame and tires off the ground? For that matter, what is best for Spyders that are in extended storage for several months, should they be put up on blocks? I can't...

Where did you get your "Handle"?

Easy pick I tried to think of something unique to where i live in the Central Valley of California. In Tulare County, we have more cows than people. There are two things this time of year that are really impressive; the smell of the manure lagoons and the thick tule fog in the morning. Tulefog...

CONSENSUS HERE WILL MAKE THE DIFFERENCE

Trip home with the new arrival My Spyder has semiautomatic transmission. i found myself grabbing for clutch, and handbrake, but got over that with a little practice in the dealer's lot. Careful over the driveway entrances, and stay a ways back from trucks, they throw stuff, especially if they...

Modifing orginial seat on 2011 RT

Redesigning seat back on 2011 RT Roger if possible, it may be best to find someone who has a Utopia backrest already installed on an RT. I have one on my 2013 RT, if i were in Iowa rather than California i would be glad to let you try it out and adjust it. The Utopia backrest is pretty popular...

Look what i got for Christmas

Creeper Christmas present They got the creeper from O'Reilly's Autoparts for about 50 bucks. It seems pretty sturdy, locks in place with a pin and holds up to 300 pounds. The added light is a good idea, maybe i will get that next. I do like the powered creeper, that belongs in an auto repair...

    Speed Bump vs Thermowrap

I hit a speed bump a little too hard and tore some of the thermowrap on my cat bypass, see picture. A friend suggested welding a 6" long by 1" wide standoff on the pipes so they would not tear up the thermowrap. Anybody try this? The thermowrap would go underneath the standoff and would be...

    Can Am survey

Just a little nippy That far north in June can be pretty nippy. I think it would be an adventure, to go from 95F here in central California in June to Quebec which would probably be about 55F. Just a few days at that temperature would do.

    GPS cover boot

weather cap The hard plastic weather cap was with the auto conversion mount that was in the Garmin box with my new 2013 RT. The dealer had put the rubber cover on the cycle when I bought it without the weather cap. It fits securely just like the Garmin itself.
