• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Your Weather News @ February Edition 2023

Weather perfect today, Feb 7, 2023 Perfect temperature for a ryde, 73°F with low humidity. The low today was in the mid 40's, so I went on an enjoyable 60 miles ryde. I think winter just may be leaving because I saw a bit of color in flowers that were growing in the middle of farmer's fields...

Will the Ryker electronics freak out using Rear Brake only?

The learning curve will hurt. My 2020 F3 spyder went into limp mode just because I was adjusting the belt with the rear tire off the ground, with it spinning of course. I had to purchase BUDs2 software to clear it. Check the price of the software and plan on totting it around with you so you...

Do you feed the birds ?????

Yep, I purchase sunflower seeds at Wallyworld by the 40# bags. There are two walmarts near me and a SIX dollar difference in price! Currently $19 at one store and $25 at the other walmart. I enjoy seeing the birds eating (especially during winter) and most of the birds near my house like to...

    Fun Christmas Eve Ride

Christmas eve I traveled over 2 hours in southern Tenn. Christmas day nearly 2 hours in northwest alabama. Perfect weather for driving around, coldest was 50f and warmed up to the mid '70s Christmas day! But the best part was Christmas eve taking the eight year old neighbor for his first ride...

    Share your mouse repellent ideas

Youtube can be your friend, look up Mousetrap Monday (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Qk8W5uf-Dw). He has tested out hundreds of mousetrap and is fun to watch. Until several years ago I had a cat that was excellent at catching any varmints that lurked around (but not for long!), but I have...

Need to get over Fear of Leaving my Spyder in Hotel Parking Lots Unattended O/night

The first night I stayed at a motel I was also a bit nervous. I parked my spyder near my window for easy viewing and nobody bothered it. I've spent a dozen nights in motels without any problems. Some folks walk by it, but just to admire it and not looking to do any damage to it. I just don't...

Put the Parking brake on but it still rolls! What am I doing wrong??

I'm new to the Spyders, but you mentioned "My wife turned the key on pressed down the brake pedal and hit the Parking button while I was laying down, I could hear it, and it worked." When you put the parking brake on are you also pushing the brake pedal like the mrs. did before hitting the...

    Thinking of buying a 2021/22 F3

I've purchased my 2020 F3L in April of this year. Purchased it used with 500 miles on it. It now has 10,900 miles. The sway bar and feel of the Spyder has been fine and don't have any plans on changing the sway bar currently. I suggest running it for a couple of months and decide for Your...

    Newbie Question about handling

Seat time is a must :) Ditto to what has been written. I have owned my 2020 F3 since April of this year. I had been off a two wheeler for 35 years so memory wasn't much of an issue for me.The first month was a good learning curve for me. Most days I would ride for 1/2 to 1 hour. Near me...
