• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Don't Be Fooled! Looking at you DOES NOT mean they SEE you!

To me, riding in a crowded metropolis like LA is just asking for trouble. Thank goodness the area I ride in isn't like that at all .... yet.

    Electric Spyder next?

To me, the only turn-off of the EV lifestyle is the charging stations.

What Kind of Rider are you?

I find that cold weather riding is a lot more tolerable in our Spyder than the Harley due to the huge windshield and heated hand grips. The Harley offers NONE of those 2 important things.

Reservations made for next year's Deadwood Three Wheel Rally!

TBH, I don't know if I would enjoy riding a trike in that region personally. I've been to Sturgis twice, both on 2 wheels, and some of the roads I rode were pretty technical. Anyway, have fun !!

    Thanks A Lot, Can-Am!!

Wish I could afford an F3 and see what all the "lower seating position/better handling" is all about, LOL.

I'm Baaack! Any suggestions on a quality S2S Seat with Green Inlays?

Gosh, I would LOVE to splurge on a custom seat (read CUSHY) with white alligator inlays to match my bike. Perhaps when I hit the lottery ....

Do you own another motorcycle besides your Spyder?

Yup. Two Harleys (storing an Iron 1200 for a friend) and a scooter.

There is an interesting Can-Am in Korea.

Ah yes, the BMW trademark kidney grille. That ex-BMW designer must've gotten a new gig at BRP, lol.

Automated mailed ticket.... But I wasn't there!

Toll roads are for the birds. I used to live in NJ and remember those annoying toll booths, ESPECIALLY on the Garden State Parkway. The Turnpike wasn't as bad, but still. So glad I live in a state that has NO toll roads. In fact, some roads are SO straight, deserted and LOOOONG, it's a great...

    Last ride of the season

Trust me, I know how you feel. (BTW, you forgot to "wash and detail my bike" prior to storing it, LOL).

$10k Question - which bike would you choose?

I would delve a little deeper on my retirement portfolio and buy a 2014/2015 F3 (I forget which year the 1300 first came out) if I were you, because like most things, you get what you pay for.

Wow The Black Friday Deals are On

Came close, SO CLOSE, to pulling the trigger on the Pedalbox, but I think I'm going to go with the ECU flash ....

Spyder owners are stuck up - why is this so?? Please explain...

Would somebody, ANYBODY, please point out on what page on the BRP manual this is stated ???? I must've skipped a page while reading it on the toilet. Thanks ....

Anyone towed their Spyder on a Stinger Trike Trailer?

I've heard some bad reviews about those Stinger trailers (questionable materials and workmanship). Maybe they have improved their trailers, who knows ??

Will Using 87 Octane impact performance?

I had to use cheap, low-octane fuel in an emergency. Performance was neglible; however, if I was riding two-up or hauling a trailer or riding up steep grades, it might make more of a difference. <shrugs>

To Choose a Blind Spot Mirror or a Blind Spot Detector - or Both?

The difference is the SIZE of the vehicle. You can easily cover the blind spot on a trike A LOT easier than if you were driving a car.

To Choose a Blind Spot Mirror or a Blind Spot Detector - or Both?

This is a bit of an overkill, no ?? I mean, what's so difficult about turning your head ?? The Spyder isn't THAT big, lol. Just drive defensively and be aware of your position amongst the other vehicles .... (But I suppose if you've had a cervical fusion and have limited range of motion...

A small Safety Mod to our 2022 RTL with a big improvement!

If you have small hands like I do, this small mod is worth its weight in gold. Definitely the best bang for the buck mod !!

    I test rode a 2023 today!

Sure you can. I do it all the time. I just set the cruise control and off I go. Sometimes, I do the "Look Ma, no hands" when there's no vehicles around me.
